Out of date driver,please look.

question.... since you updated your drivers have you tried a reinstal of SL? Also if you havent yet, go to C:\Documents and Settings\<your computer name>\Application Data\Second Life\cache


and empty, but dont delete the folder. give that a shot :)

Hit start, then 'run', then type 'dxdiag' (minus the quotes), and hit enter. Click the button 'Save all information', save it somewhere you can find it.

Open the file, and cut & paste it into the forums here. That will give a big list of exactly all the hardware in your computer, and what drivers it's running.

Chances are, someone might be able to pickup a known incompatibility or give some pointer into what's broken.

I once ran into this problem. It was apparently caused by not uninstalling some driver version before installing the new one. Removing the driver and installing a fresh one fixed it IIRC
