Ah, 'tis but one of many complaints. Another thing: why must people keep ruining good steak pies by putting kidney in them? OMFG! Are you insane, man? Why are people ruining a good steak by putting it in a pie when it could be sitting on a pristine white china plate quivering and seeping bloody juices? You fellows are out of your freakin' minds and I demand a retraction. Next thing, someone will be trying to foist some sort of absurd mashed potato crust onto an otherwise proper kidney "pie". Dogs and cats living together......mass hysteria  Oh, and.............nevermind. _____________________

I've spent a lot of time examining pie very closely and it's upsetting that there is NOTHING wrong with it! In fact, in almost every way, pie is awesome. This troubles me, just because it doesn't trouble you is no reason to flame me! _____________________

I want to know, if we continue to stay on-topic by discussing our technical issues with pie here, will this thread be allowed to stay here in the "Technical Issues" forum instead of getting swept to off-topic?
So, my technical issues are as follows: Pie with fruit = pie, right? And technically tomato is a fruit, right? But you put a tomato in... and it's called a pizza, right. (or pie in some places, <gasp!>  Therefore, if I call up dominoes and ask for a medium size boisenberry and pecan, why are they giving me such a hard time? Also, can the inverse be done, can I take a pie crust and pie top and fill it with stewed tomatoes? _____________________

I'd appreciate it if you were less flippant about this subject that is very close to many of our hearts. The pie makers work very hard to bring us pie and I expect you are upsetting some of the more sensitive members of the community.
