BLACK SUNDAY = free account overload. Set your alarm clock for Monday at 3AM. Grid will be useable for 3 hours before the free accounts get their second wind and stop you from completing even the simpliest task. Enjoy!

Logins failing

Yep, seems logins are failing. I sent a bug report and I am posting here. I hope someone is on it.

I got on.

But my clothing is still downloading.........tell tale sign of asset server problems.

Wonder why this happened now? We were approaching 33,000 earlier and all I got was massive lag and a one in ten shot at a completed TP.

Not quite 22,000 now.

it's like when you build a VERY TALL building and still making it taller....with crappy materials...what does it do after some time? it crumbles down because you only wanted to make it taller and taller, but using crappy materials...

I think his point was more that Saturday was fine and thats still part of the weekend, why should there be such a massive influx of registering on sunday over saturday.

I don't believe it was down to free account joining in either, something seriously screwed up last night and its still screwing things up now. Worrying that Linden still hasn't got to the bottom of it.

See they've finally stopped blog comments cause of the embarrasment of all the negativity.

This won't help their cause though, when people want to vent, they'll just vent it elsewhere, across the internet.

Fingers crossed they sort it soon, right now I don't rez at all, half inventorys missing and can't tp. I've never ever experienced it like this before, not once since joining in December, this is the worst I've seen it :/

Or folks that like to have their entertainment as computer games entertainment, take advantage of that on the Saturday, whilst Sunday go out and get some fresh air for a change.

Two sides to everything, my weekend experiences so far have always been that Saturday nights have felt like the harder load on the grid than the Sunday.

Never had a post sunday serious issues like this before, so I still think there's a lot more to this current situation than simply lots of new accounts (accounts which will have very little assets to begin with in their inventorys).

I attempt to do a fashion show every Sunday and I have club events all day and all night every Saturday. We survive Saturday but in Sunday inventories won't load, clothes won't rez - the island crashes and models cannot log back in. So after 5 months of this I conclude that the load is much higher on Sunday - usually starting around 2PM SL time.
