I'm having a problem a problem logging into SL from my Computer, when I try, I get this error:

Second Life cannot be accessed from this computer. If you feel this is an error, please contact [email]support@secondlife.com[/email]. If you feel this is an error, please contact [email]support@secondlife.com[/email]"

Just asking in the forums before getting direct LL support. I've never had this error before, and SL logs me in fine on different computers.

Having same problems. Trying to reinstall game. I am networked and can log in on the other pc.

I'm also having problems logging on I keep getting the message "Login failed Second Life cannot be accessed from this computer. Anyone had any luck yet? Still getting the message. I emailed tech support about 5 hours ago but no reply yet. I hope we can get a Linden to comment on this.

I have no idea, but I am just hoping they get it fixed soon or at least give an explanation for it. It seems like quite a few people are having the same problem.

I also am unable to log in from my new desktop computer. It's got a brand new nVidia 7900 card with 256 ram, has a Dual Core 4400 chip, .... was able to connect the first few times I used the software but found that I kept disconencting quickly.

Now, I can't even log in with the software. It loads, I type in my information and.... bloop... back to the desktop with the request asking if I want an error report sent in.

I also have a notebook computer and it logs in just fine. Same wireless network and hardly ever disconnects from the game (knock wood)

One of the reasons I got the new, more powerful computers is so I can play SL on a faster processor with a better video card and the blasted thing won't even log in now and I am not a happy camper!

I even turned off the firewall to see if that was the problem.

Call to talk to a live person? I would love to but I work during the day when they are open and I sure as heck can't call them from work.

Any way.... what is the best way to delete the software and all the files from the computer so I can attempt a fresh download and fresh install??

what state are you loggin in from? MAC or PC, what operating system? this way we might be able to see what the issue is? Just a thought

I'm logging in from New Hampshire on a PC. I'm going to head to sleep, so hopefully it'll be fixed tomorrow or have an explanation :)

I'm logging in from New Mexico on a PC... BRAND NEW PC at that.

Windows XP Pro, Dual core AMD 4400, 2 gig of ram, nVidia 7900 video with 256 ram. I have tried with the firewall on and off. The antivirus program is on but I can't think it would stop me from logging in.

I am wireless but am able to get on the net without any problems using email and IE and getting here to the forums.

I'm frustrated to say the least. Why would a top of the line computer not be able to connect to the game?

Yaaa, I'm still here. hahaha I am also on wireless. I have never had problems before though which made me nervous. I will try again in the morning.

I'm from Florida. Mine's a PC, it's window's home XP edition. Anyone gotten any e-mails from Linden Labs, cause I sent an e-mail into support 4 hours ago and still nothing.

No reply from LL yet.. I think I screwed mine up even further while playing with Firewall, now I can't get past verifying protocol version.. haha
