From: Andrew Linden Yes. I agree 1.5.9 is junk. You can blame me. 3 minutes in the penalty box for you. Thanks for the update Andrew.

1.5.8.3 made me crash ever tp i did, 1.5.9 fixed it for me but since 1.5 ive had super lag all the time, unmovable lag but theres nothing we can do and i doubt they will bring out 1.6 early so i guess we gotta wait

From: Andrew Linden Yes. I agree 1.5.9 is junk. You can blame me. I realized this morning that it is all MY fault. I messed up when moving some version tags around on files that the other developers turned in. Basically, the crash-bug fix that was supposed to be in 1.5.9 never made it. Unfortunately, I (and a few others) tested it for a while and didn't crash so we released it. Then this morning I was crashing all over! We're currently testing 1.5.10 which, in addition to the fix that was supposed to be in 1.5.9, has some stuff that I was trying to avoid including into 1.5.9. Not because they are dangerous changes but because I was trying to minimize the changes that went into 1.5.9. The good news is that Steve removed some unecessary resorting being done on objects with alha which will boost a few people's render FPS a little bit. 1.5.10 will be out ASAP, probably around noon (Pacific) today. Sorry about the inconvenience. Way cool. I'm really digging the tech support here! Thanks for hearing our combined groans.

No problems here on either release.
Windows XP SP2 and ATI Radeon XT 256.
It's a wonderful life!
