I just tped to go to a greeters meeting and wanted to relog since the lag was killing me, especially with the tp'ed I received.

Now I tried to logged in and it just stays on "Connecting to Region". I cancelled it to changed to my home location, but still same thing.

What is wrong with SL!!! This is annoying...

...something must be wrong on the server end...i've spent the past fifteen minutes trying to log on to no avail - after waiting five minutes or so, i receive the standard 'despite our best efforts, something has gone wrong' error message...

I cant get in, and neither can my extended family of alts.

They all have different home locations.

Oh and I did not crash prior to this.

Forums are slow too.

My right arm hurts.

I got a huge sunburn on my neck.

I've fallen and I cant get up.

And to top it all off... McDonald's forgot my fries.

:(

But I have some good news:

You can save a bunch of money on your car insurance by switching to Geico. :D

I haven't been able to get in. Not only that, but now SL is freezing up after about five seconds as it tries to log me in.

Yes, I've been trying for ages, I was supposed to be at a S.O.S. - Save Our Stipends! demonstration tonight. Right now, I have just decided to stay in the "SL may appear frozen" thing and have it minimized.

What throws me off is, if I do control-alt-delete while it is doing this, it says SL is "not responding." So I don't know if it is REALLY not responding or what.

Anyway, I can't get in. Just checked - nope, still "frozen".

coco

P.S. Okay, I give up. Maybe in an hour or so it will be better.

Just tried to get into SL via the Linux alpha client, no go (sticks on the authenticate URL in the logs).

I'll drop a line on the Lindens...

This is really annoying indeed. If there is an issue then let us know what it is so we can sort!

There are four threads now about this. I hope they realize soon that it isn't an individual problem and get to fixing. Some of us have been Second Lifeless for two days now.

I've been dealing with this since the last update. I've contacted tech support on several occasions and they keep trying to pin this on me by insisting it's my network. Nevermind I've told them several times that I am able to log into my husband's account with no problems, they still insist it's my network and are dragging their heels rectifying the problem.

I even suggested that it might be something in my inventory, as this has happened to me before, in There. You'd think they'd look into that instead of telling me to to keep checking my network and sending them dxdiag notes (which, I might add, shows no problems).

THEN they want me to rate them and send them feedback.

Be careful what you wish for. You just might get it.
