Check, click on her name, and watch the other stuff she posted, ok? She talked about the griefer being a Canadian in more then one post, so I doubt she is actually joking. And if she was, she would have probably said it right after seeing people got angry, so hush. The griefer could be from any of a number of places. There seems to be a pattern in the attacks. Can a commericial company really defend itself from outside attack? Oh, I am a female and not male  I also like Canada and its people. It is a very friendly place and have visited her many times. |

You aren't a canadian, you read what is printed in your american newspapers and televisions just like we watch OUR news and we hear the WHOLE story. Our newpapers and tv stations do not just take one side of the politics and relate it to us, they give us the facts, who's against and who's for, the statistics of how our country views situations based on polling etc. I don't hate Americans. I don't hate the US. I don't agree with many things my country does but I love it just the same. I don't agree with many things that the US has done either but I do not deserve to be lumped in with your attitude of canadians. It seems to me that its you who has the problem. Canadians are fun loving and extremely patriotic. I'm sorry that you are so ignorant of our policies and traditions that you feel the need to spread hate through this second life forum. Umm I don't think she's originally from the US, not sure if she's even a citizen. Oh, and the US doesn't hate Canada either. Being from a border state (WA) we may tease our Canadian neighbors, eh, but it's all in good fun.

These so called residents then resorted to name calling and other smear tatics. Look at the names I have been called. I did not use ONE label word on anyone from that country or any other but got attacked. Oh, I do not like dogs they scare me because of an incident in my youth. My homeland was occupied then and now by the military of the nation I am suppose to be supporting. About the attacker, we might get a clue to the orgin of the attacker by the names chosen. I think it is the same person using a series of alt accounts playing some sort of sick game. I do not know the game but it is clear the intent is to spread discord and hatred within Second Life. I bet the griefer still has an active account and is using it for some strange reason. Oh and again I do not hate the residents of that hypersensitive country but rather like them. Hmmm I didnt say in any of my messages that the person was a Candian only there was a RUMOR that the attack was made from Canada. Of course it could be made from a number of places outside of the United States or from within. My firm had to resort to locking out a lot of ISP addresses to help prevent griefers from defacing our webpages and hacking into our system. They still attack through the use of "zombie" computers. No defense is perfect. Suppose that is problem Linden Labs is having. A griefer comes up with a attack and they respond with a defense. This cycle keeps repeating itself enless times. Sounds a bit like the cycle of life to me. Oh, I was "pulling your chain" about how Canada people feel about American people. One of my techs told me to do it. I said to him there will be no responce and he said otherwise. I now owe him a steak dinner and that is going to set me back a lot more than a little premium dues and tier! Keep forgetting the little things. I get my news from NHK that is like America PBS or Canada CBC. It is recieved from a sat located over the Pacfic and it sets me back $25 American a month to recieve the single channel. Wish I could pay L$25 a month |
