Cant log in!! ack!

any one lese haveing the problem with going to the trans mall ... when i go in to thew shop my shop frezzes .... i can go every where esle .. hummmm

It's 9:30 am EST, 6:30 am PST. I can't get in; hung up at "waiting for response". How can there be a load at this time?

They are doing a much needed upgrade i do believe.. This might fix the probs that ppl are having..

Since I've only been able to login once why wouldn't I cancel my free trial period before its over? The ONE time I logged in it was interesting but I can't support paying money for a service that is not provided. Why would a spend hundreds of dollars on "land" when I can't even log in?

Here's a thought. Use clustered Oracle databases on multiple Spark servers from Sun. Couple that with at LEAST gigabit network links to each other and the sim servers. Seriously, this has been happening since 1.4 at least (prior to that I wouldnt know), havent we figured out yet that it's time to upgrade????

You got 8 Million from the Ebay owner, how bout using it for something useful eh? I'd trade all the hours put in to make video a reality in 1.6 right now for the game to at least function

I think it's been really bad since 1.5 actually and worse since 1.6. Sometimes, it takes me 5 tries before I'm logged in and then I don't want to log out for fear I won't be able to get back in! But today, the game has been behaving pretty well for me.. Probably because of the date!

Okayyyy.. second thought, I am having problems logging back in again. I had to log out to correct the "TP problem" and now, can't log back in again. *sigh*

Four nights in a row now. Wow... I think SL is going for some kind of record.

This is kinda sad - I was able to login once today. I guess we are paying LL to stare at a loading screen. Best...game...ever :/

And the bad part! You can't get ONE, not one Linden in here to say anything, or explain to us what is going on.........and who pays their salaries.....maybe the Dell techs need to come back to work here! I know its getting very stupid........Maybe one day soon we will be able to log in and play a whole game day, and not have any problems...NOT!!!

This is pretty bad, esp in the evening. I have NEVER had this problem before. I gave up after 1.5 hrs of trying to get in last night with all sorts of notices on why I couldnt. I finally resorted to my alt and she got in in about 10 min.... but that is still not my usual tme line. Tonight, I cant get in again, and neither can my alt.
This is not good . I may hve to clean house!

I noted another problem getting in today.. it gets to the waiting response and then I get kicked back out.

JJ - Robin Linden jumped in twice on pages 2 & 3, not that she told us anything new or worth hearing, like how to actually get in.

well, the last few nights logins have been slow... but now i'm getting error messages about something unexpected going wrong. I sent in a support request with my log files, but for some reason I'm betting they're flooded....

OK this is getting far beyone annoying and takable... I was in for a few hours then when I went to TP I ended up in Nowheresville stuck in space.. so I relog and.. guess what I CANT GET BACK IN.. says im not connected to the server or some BS like that.. Someone needs to fix this and fix it soon cause i know from alot of ppl ive talked to about this in the game.. they are well beyong annoyed and are tired of putting up with this. The way I feel is that the Lindens need to stop giving us perks.. wich we dont need.. and actully fix the problems instead of hiding them... Sorry im fustrated!

Again with the errors fun fun. I have spent the whole 2 hours of my free time trying to log in with of corse no outcome. I have been in this game for...god, coming up on 2 years now and it seems instead of getting better we just get more issues. Here is a crazy thought how about with all these updates you try fixing the major issues instead of adding more problems???

Maybe they should take a cue from Blizzard and give a free month to all of us, for messing up so badly. They have the best customer service ever!

I was logged into the game and having a terrible time of trying to port back home. Well the game freezes up and I have to restart only to find out I am not able to log back in. Been doing this for about 30 minutes. It is the samething every night when I try to log in. I read the forums and they say 'please be patient'. How much patience do we have if this is going on for a while now? Alot of us pay to play this game and kinda ruins the fun if you are paying for something you are not able to play. I know alot of other games out there, that are just as fun as this that I KNOW I can log into and if there is a problem at least they address the issue.

You know....all this new website is real nice....but how about fixing it so we can get into the darn game. You pay all this money to play and it takes you 30 minutes to log in and then once you get on, you end up staying in one place because you cant TP anywhere without having to relog.......and waiting 30 minutes MORE to get back in.....a complete waste of time and getting to be not worth the energy or the money. FIX THE TECHNICAL ISSUES PEOPLE.....THE OLD WEBSITE LOOK WAS FINE!!!!

Seriously though, are you under the impression that you are doing Linden Lab a favour by staying or doing business with them? Are they doing you a favour by going into business? No. They provide a service. You buy the service. If you are not happy with it, take your business elsewhere as you threaten.

Do you really think the blustering customer "I'm gonna take my business elsewhere threat" is really gonna work here? If someone had a comperable or better service, you would be there already. [no pun intended]
