From: Selador Cellardoor That isn't the effect I am getting. In my case it started with the 1.10 release, and it consists of fairly infrequent flashes, which light up the surroundings (as someone said, like lightning). There are no odd lighting effects or pulsating. It definitely wasn't happening to me before 1.10. Check again--and note what time of the SL day it occurs. I'm willing to bet it's about 30 minutes before sunset/sunrise...

From: PetGirl Bergman I am SURE its a LL way (help) to keep us al awake in front of the monitors.. flash - wow what that - my.. I was close to sleep (23 hours in a row in SL) - thanks LL for the flash.. next will be a fast electric shock by the mouse... Actually, it should occur every 2.5 hours or so (since SL daylight is 3 hours and the sun starts going down about 30 minutes prior) then about 45 minutes after SL sunset (since SL night only lasts an hour and the sun starts coming back up about 30 minutes prior to sunrise) for about 5-10 minutes every 10 seconds.

I had this same problem over the weekend over at a sim, so I jumped to another one and didn't have any problems, but then again, the sim was around noon in the one I went to. I guess it makes sense now that I think about it.

Well for me I can say I never saw this effect before 1.10. I first noticed the effect on the 1.9+ preview grid, which led me to verify that it wasn't happening on the main grid.

I also started getting this in 1.10. And that it happens when the sun starts to set or rise. Once it is fully night or daylight it is fine. Never happend back in 8.x. I don't know if I saw it in the preview or not, but then I didn't happen to be there for a sun rise/set.
