Last night I was having some selecting funkiness happening. I'd try to right click on the ground and end up selecting a tree, I tried to select an object and ended up selecting a tree, even though the object in question was pretty far away from it. Editing the parts of a house I was working on was fairly impossible, I couldn't grab hold of the bits I wanted to edit. Has anyone else noticed this? (I also posted in current version feature feedback)

I right click someone, and click profile, but it bring up the profile (or IM, if I select that) of someone I was talking to 10 minutes ago.

I had some similar weirdness. I think the new camera controls have a few issues with knowing where the camera is and what you're pointing at. Or something.
Has anyone else lost all of their attachments upon teleporting?

Actually that's exactly what seems to be happening, at least in my experience.

It was definitely my first thought, because every time its happened, my camera has been at some kind of funky angle (as it usually is). Quite frustrating. I've bug reported it.

Yep, same is happening to me. I try to select one tree in my yard to adjust it,and it ends up selecting one next to it, or a tree a bit further away from me. My camera hasn't changed. Its in the default position when it happens to me.

There have been selection problems before 1.9. When using the rectangular selection method (Yellow box) to select several prims, it will often miss a prim out.
I very nearly reported the bug, but then I remembered that it was pointless.

From what I've been hearing (and seeing on the Second Life Answers forum) they block closed all bugs and said that 1.9 might have fixed it and to resubmit if it hadn't. So, SL is bug free now!! What? You say it isn't? Oh man....

Oh man.... They probably did that so they can see what bugs still existed.

I had the same problem selecting things, Ingrid. Coincidently, it was messing with friends in Boardman, in front of your house. It was very irritating and you have my every sympathy. x.x

Just bug reported it.
I'm also finding, without fail, that when i re log into SL, it puts me back behind my home rather than where i logged out from. I have my preferences set to log me in at my last location. I just tried 5 or so times, and each time it logged me in behind my home no matter where i logged out from. Its not even my home position landmark thingy.

Wow, feeling better now. I just bought my first land last night and had a terrible time just getting the stupid "About Land" menu item to come up. And this morning, when trying to assemble my house I got so frustrated not being able to select the parts I just deleted everything (still got back-ups). Glad to hear it's not normally this bad.

I've had issues like these last night. Alt-click on something, alt-move the mouse, and the camera goes off in some funky direction not seeming to point at anything in particular. It got so bad I constantly had to hit escape to reset the camera, move avie to another spot, and try again. HP

I am still having selecting problems. I also can't see myself in-game, all I am is just a bunch of attachments floating around. Then tonight while trying on a new outfit, after it refused to rez in like ten minutes, I got a message saying that the clothes could not be located in my inventory and then they put some default clothing (untextured ones) on me instead. But the clicker is that they (LL?) changed my clothing items to "New Shirt" and "New Skirt" and the ones I actually paid money for are lost in some abyss.

From: Starax Statosky it was pointless. Hardly pointless, if you file a bug report now, then when the next version comes out, you will get an email from a staff member advising you that a new version is out which might have solved the problem. This will warm your heart and give you a glowing tingling feeling all over.

So I played around a little more last night, and I find I have trouble selecting mostly around trees. If you ever stretched a tree, you'll see that the alpha texture on it is huge, it goes way past the actual braches. This is what the camera ends up selecting instead of the object next to the tree. Still having trouble getting about land to come up easily when i right click on the ground.
