For that matter read the part where Torley says that log-ins will start at the beginning of the three hour rolling restart and yet here we are with the restart almost complete and still no log-ins.

Also, since there are close to 4,000 people in the game the whole time and since Lindens can log-in and out as they please the whole time, what is the big deal about letting everyone log in anyway?

We know the performance will be unbearable but that is just par for th ecourse nowadays.

If the "correction" is being made on the server side code and then the regions are being restarted to take up the new code, why should we even be dissalowed from logging in in the first place?

I was watching for the sims that restarted so i could run to one of them when they came back online. Not sure why though cuz it is quite boring in here by myself lol.

why all the drama from the lindens these days? why all the lies? why are things slowly goin down the toliet? Its a game yes, but why treat us like bad people by shutting up up cencoring blogs and filing troll reports on people that do help people in the game? I speaking with nobody hearing this i expect that these days. All I want to do is play here and enjoy and help friends. But LLabs and their anti free speach ( 1984 big brother ways thes days) I and otehr can`t get th ehelp we need...........The staff of llabs really needs to be redone from top to bottom..........I just hate what this game has turned into..........Its not a game anymore its a person attack kiss ass who you know game. Is this what Philip linden invinsioned years ago.............I not flaming but i just had it. I cry more these days because LLabs had fallen so badly and there is no real helpin the game anymore. PR is a joke as always ( that has never been a good issue with LLabs anyways) But we need change and fast......Who cares abouthte populas getting to 700,000 soon or even 1,000,000 The over all game is in a dark period of time which is just getting darker and darker.......

I -had- been waiting as patiently as possible and doing some surfing while waiting for what has now become 8 hours, just to be able to play Dark Life with what time I may have left before moving 3000 miles and not being able to be in SL again for who knows how long.

I feel the same way Usagi. I even left SL for a time due to all the mess, until someone talked me into playing Dark Life. I have not been able to enjoy SL since last Friday. Today is Wednesday... nearly a week since I have been able to truly enjoy what little I have left in SL. And then to top it all off they monitor my posts to the blog and don't even allow a couple of them to make it to the blog and I didn't even say anything bad enough to warrant censoring. Once again I am asking myself is SL really worth all the trouble......

I just feel like sl is as a sinking ship........and us rats are still onboard..........PLEASE PLEASE LLABS WE NEED CHANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stop adding Lindens that are useless and are only the sole purpose of showing their LindenLabs Name to scarey off the bad people. Stop adding Lindens that only show their basis throughts to problems a issues in the game. Stop putting Lindens in alts and tricking people in the game. In the old days the things were bad! But these days its not even bad as its a nightmare even int he linden ranks. If you noticed that LLabs has closed its money outlet to keep the money in the game. Do a deep think and see if you come up with the same answer............EA buying llabs is a joke. Even EA would not buy a sinking ship no matter how large the user base............Sony has left th building on this issue. and if they have LOL so the realization SL is not as strong as it once was.

psssttt.... EA Games/Maxis has had thier fingers in SL all along and I don't mean financially. I'm wondering how many ex-EA Games/Maxis employess are still working at LL......

The facts are the Lindens got a few screws loose but then again they are also in a unique situation. Second Life is unique in that no other MMO can reasonably claim to match it in the scope of its depth and its complexity. Im as pissed as hell that its taking this long for the grid to come back up too. Im as pissed as hell that they keep trying to decieve us, their base. Im pissed as hell that they currently seem much more interested in creating new problems instead of solving old ones.

I can normally take the usual complaints during updates, heck I even complain a bit myself, but we are all in the same boat. This goes for all of you, calm down, collect yourselves and think up solutions and submit them to the Lindens in an ADULT manner. They may be rotten weasels for the most part and even incompetent at time but they are the only ones capable of running Second Life right now.

So go ahead complain, I dont care, but dont bitch unless youve got a solution.

i understood what i meant.......But still people saying sl selling out is far from real.....Is what i was saying. Problem is LLabs staff is not either all sync togther ( this is proven in the blogs) some writings one says one thing, another says another. Some just say......well its all great! all is well! cookies and milk for the whole population! But really its not.....Yes its a game yes we have real lives. But what i don`t understay is why are we getting rose colored glasses reports and saying part of the game are open when they are not? Is this person in the same world as us? safe heavens around sl? I think not? If the game is offline nobody but lindens are in world..........This type of reporting in the blogs scary me. who can you trust and why would you trust them..........This is not flaming but just a wakeup call for some not to believe everything you read on sl.....grant you i know many good and trustable people inthe game but some...........

Now then I understand what your saying and I agree 100% there needs to be oversight. The Lindens are in effect the government of Second Life. If we can trust the ones who run the world in which our Second Life is lived out. Then who can we trust.

Solutions have been offered numerous times by those with 20 plus years of experience with this sort of thing and LL still refuses listen.I've been waiting 9 hours now..... and we're just supposed to keep our mouths shut and let LL keep bending us over a low tree limb? I don't think so. Not after having to deal with the mess SL has become for a year and a half.

They'll be luck if I don't include myself in any class action suit that may be filed in regard to the security breach that should never have happened in the first place due to LL using old outdated industry standards....
