Woooot i downloaded the new updated Second Life!!
now i can log in at long last!!



WRONG!!
worse than ever
cant log in at all
awaiting version 1.7 or maybe just find something else to play

Yep, a brilliantly effective patch indeed, hmmm, should I continue to try logging in or watch World Championship Paint Drying ... not sure which is the most fun.

could this be like the trueman show, we're all engrossed in sl then just suddenly switch over and see whats on the other channel, surely someone out there can do better than this

I WANT A REFUND what is it ? Why cannot you handle having people log in? I played TSO for 3 years and not once do i recall a problem like this, but of course i didnt spend 60.00 a month to play there tho, it was only 9.99 like Earl Shives, See now i pay you people alot to let me have a little enjoyment with my friends, i want to log in FIX IT

You might want to wait for version 86.3 to come out then maybe we can log in.. only when that comes out will we be able to tell!

Oh my god, Thili! How did you even get that far? I get to "Waiting for response..." and then it pops back to the login screen, or asks if I want to download the latest version for the 58th time. I mean seriously, I payed ten whole dollars to play this game. What good is SL if you can't even play it?

The auto update ingame thingie never been so reliable, just as big download and easier to use their download page, its kinda easy to break and get repeatedly download from SL trying to use the autoupdate.

Id like to know if they tested the update or not? I mean seriously if they did then they should have relized it didnt fix anything right? Im beginning to think they have Chimp doing the updates and that they dont care if they have their patrons or not.. any normal business would have fixed major problems that arose right away... LL has yet to do that.. I dunno ive had all this time to think about what LL is saying that we cant hear... maybe we dont want to hear? maybe they are laughing at us? I dont know but my mind is starting to wander now cause I cant do anything.

You know not being able to get into SL really really sucks, but when something like this happens.... gawd it really brings out the comical side of people and I've just been laughing my ass off reading all these posts. It doesnt make up for lost time in SL and Im still really pissed off that I cant get in..... but eh a few laughs helps a little. Keep it up

I have been a menber for only 1 year, second life is worse now than when i joined,please go to walmart and buy a server that will hold what u are trying to achive.To much growth. I don't care how many updates that are done, Nothing is going to help untill SL does its own update with the right equitment.My favorite program has gone to sgtie..excuse my typo''

I have never been so pi$$ed off at a game in my entire life. I mean i have no control over loggin in. I have been sitting here for the past hour trying to log in but instead i get the that something went wrong. PFFTTTTT....is all i can say

I believe I did see a Linden response in the Hotline to Lindens

and it shouold be pointed out that after the past few upgrades, (of which I have only been around for the past few) right after the patch it has always been hard to get in, so many people trying to connect... (and for humor) all the bugs running around trying to get into place, making new homes...

it just takes alot out of the network connections and servers... give it time, you'll get in.





by the way, how long can you go without sleep? <-- sorry Lindens I had to throw that one in.
