Does anyone know of fabric fold brushes for PS 7? I don't have CS so these are useless to me and I'd really like to have a set! :)

I don't have CS either. I use PSE4 and I am able to use the brushes anyway. I put them in the folder (dont remember name of it as I am at work now) that has the brushes that come with the program and then when I open PSE4 and click on brush types, they all appear for me to choose from. Don't know for sure, but since it works for my PSE4, I would think that it would work for PhotoShop 7 also. Good luck.

I wish it worked that way for me. I get an error message saying that I can't use them. :(

To everyone who likes the brushes: thank you!! I'm so happy to hear that they're useful!

Samantha: Were you ever able to download the brushes? It goes right to a download window when I click on them, so I don't know what the problem might be.

Aree: You can use the .jpgs of the skirt folds that I posted to create PS 7 brushes. Tonight, if I remember, I'll make .jpgs of the regular folds and post those as well. Hope you have fun with them. :)

Samantha -- Are you using Safari as a browser? I was, and got the same text file. Change browsers (Firefox worked fine) and you'll get the brush file to download...

Ceres?

I think I am blind... I am back to play with the brushes in PSP 7, you mentioned you would put on your page, but I still don't see them.

I am reading too that other people have the same request. Maybe they found their way? What am I missing?

I am not giving up on this even if it takes me ages.

Not coming a lot to SL, but I like opening my PS7 to play.

Let me know...

:)

Palomma- It is because I suck that you didn't see them. But! They are there now! Ladies and gentlemen, I have gotten off my ass and created image files of the brushes! *pretends to hear cheering*

Images of the brushes for the skirt template have been up for a few months, and are found here:

http://community.livejournal.com/solitarytree/6692.html

They don't look like much by themselves. On top of fabric they look much better. :)

Images of the brushes for the fabric folds tutorial are found here:

Create brushes for any and all programs that aren't PS CS2. :)

Ghanie- You are so kind to ask! I will have a shop eventually, and am working with my partner right now to create inventory. I'm going to announce... uh, somewhere... when it's finally open. :) If you're interested in dark Victorian clothing, you should check it out. Or even if you aren't. :)

Also, keep a lookout for the opening of the new H.P. Lovecraft sim. I'll have a freebie tintable outfit as a party favor. :)

I'm gonna give you some stuff I made with your folds so don't decline the inventory offer, hehe.

As soon as you have your shop, let me know and I'll stick a LM in my inventory notecards :-).

me to, I found a lot of them scattered around but they are all for newer version of PS.. I have ver7.. "sigh" but I did get some images to work by just creating my own brush with it. And i also figured out how to do it myself.. pure accident! not perfect but its a good start.

If you can search the help or google on how to make a brush for PS7, you can probably create it with the jpg (it's on the livejournal). Just save the jpg in an easy-to-find spot, open it with PS, then create brush.
