I'm told I look quite a bit like my avatar. If you don't like your body the way it is, maybe you should stop hiding behind your avatar sliders and realize that your RL body can also be reshaped with surprisingly little effort. I lost 75 pounds last year and I haven't gained them back. Here's how to do it: - Sleep properly. Go to bed early, sleep 8 hours, get up in the morning. Lack of sleep makes you crave unhealthy food, too much sleep makes you lazy. - Eat once every 2 hours. A piece of fruit, a couple slices of bread, a sugarless yoghurt. Not twinkies. GET LOTS OF FIBER! It makes you feel full with zero calories. - Eat less at meals. Never eat a second helping, dont fill up your plate so much that your food is piling up on itself. If you're not hungry 2 hours later, you're eating too much. Ideally, your stomach will GENTLY remind you when the 2 hours are up. When you can set your clock by your stomach, you're on the right track. - Move more. A mere 10 or 20 minutes of biking will go a long way towards making you healthy. You dont even need to leave the house, you can use a fixed bike. If you're not tired after biking, or you get so tired you cannot finish, adjust the difficulty settings. - AVOID SUGAR LIKE THE PLAGUE! SUGAR IS EVIL! Seriously. Sugar makes you hungry. It's seriously addictive. You don't want to get on the "sugar rollercoaster" where you will be craving sugary stuff. If you've ever craved sugar, you're on it. - Drink shitloads of water. If you feel hungry, drink water. Often your body mixes up its signals and makes you want to eat when you in fact need to drink. If your piss isn't perfectly transparent and you're not pissing like 10 times a day, you're not getting enough water. - Think long term. The first week is hell, I know, but it gets a lot better. Eventually you will build up some muscle and it will burn fat for you even when you're not exercising.

I spent half the morning totally pissed off thinking of all the mean things I could say to you. But you know what you aren't even worth it. I am not letting ignorant people ruin my day.
Asri, if you don't think that paying you 400 bucks every time you hit the color change button isn't appreciation enough for your efforts then you need to get over yourself.
Sen, if you loved me half as much as you claimed you wouldn't have just insulted me like that. My AV is my most prized creation in SL and I already know how you feel about it. Telling me I look like crap whenever you get the chance isn't really "friendly" now is it?
And Eggy I hope that wasn't directed towards me because you don't know a damn thing about me.

Ok...enough

It really irks the hell out of me to see that a suggestion has deteriorated into a thread of personal attacks. The first post here didn't seem to me like an attack on any designer or downing of a product. It was a suggestion. In fact, one designer posted she would try to do what was requested. I am quite interested in understanding the time and effort that go into making things, however I didn't like the sarcasm and anger that was brought forth in explaining how much is put into creating things. I also did not appreciate the comments that were made to us. ( I assume I was included because I agreed with the original post even though I do not personally know the other posters ) I never said I didn't like the designers or the product. I have bought MANY items from these designers. Sure I would like a bit bigger shoe but it's not going to stop me from buying...it's not that damn big of a deal. A suggestion is a suggestion. It doesn't need to be answered with anger and "I Quit" along with personal attacks. A mere explanation of why the suggestion isn't feasible was all that was needed. That can be done in a mature way. You can't please everyone all of the time, but people can be mature and respectful. There is too much damn hate in rl...does it really need to be here too?? *SMILE DAMNIT*

Plastic Passions already have shoes that fit the bill...

I wear Ale Bukowski's shoes, which he sells from a little-known mountaintop boutique in Varney. His build there is beautiful, but his shoes are just WONDERFUL. I do wear the odd other pair, but mostly I stick with Ale's shoes because they are fixed for a size 20 foot, and they don't make my avatar develop lumpy ankles. I have reorganised a lot of my wardrobe so that it works with his shoes . Asri, sorry if this thread upset you, but I can't honestly see any difference for the designers between making everyone shrink their avatar feet to 0 and making them set them to 20? The difference it makes to me is that the avatar leg is so much more attractive with the foot at the larger size. Ale's shoes look great, come in different styles and colours and are sold in a wonderfully smart box which looks great if you can afford the prims to have it out! They come with animations which I think are well chosen, a walk and idling anims too. Please go and see what I am talking about! Cali

Holy crap. I just gotta say: For those that stayed positive in this suggestion thread, thank you. The rest of you(barring the sarcastics - you're always funny! )... breathe deeeeep. As for the topic of the post, I'm glad it was brought out. I only very lightly dabble in shoe-making, and intend to take this suggestion to heart in the future. It was good encouragement, as the last pair of shoes I made(prior to this thread being posted) was using a larger foot than 0, for a change. And keep up the good work, cobblers. (oh and Kas, I think you're lovely - it's nice to see dark avs, too!)

Howdy, folks. I understand that there are reasons for concern with regard to making shoes moddable. Here's an idea. Why not script each prim of the shoe using llSetScale? With a few minutes of a scripter's time, they should be able to come up with a text-commandable solution to let you scale a shoe across three sizes. Just ask around. If your scripter knows how to get the params of a prim using a script, it shouldn't be too hard to come up with a solution. (Note: please make sure your scripter uses link messages rather than listens in *every* prim. Lag avoidace is important. )

And a RESET command to allow the owner to reset the shoes to default textures, size and shapes... I like it!

In Defense for my shoes.....

Hello Brace
I actually sell the shoes you posted a picture of. I actually never noticed what you call a tumor before and really have no idea why that happen. The shoes of course are set for the feet. They are also made for a size 6 foot not 0 and wasnt created to be high heels, they are only half the height of the higher heels in the game. Anyway, those of you who like and buy my shoes, Thank you As for the rest, im sorry dont know how to help you with your "tumor" Will try to take notice of tumors if we make shoes again. From: Brace Coral Hello I have a small request. Somewhere along the line it was decided that we all had to shrink our footsies down to ZERO in order for prim shoes to "look good", "look right" and/or "not look so clunky and huge". I for one beg to differ. Because for whatever reason, when you DO shrink yer feet down to zero, SL avatar shape creates a lovely TUMOR looking thing at yer ankles. I say to all you wonderful prim shoe creators UNITE and STOP THE ANKLE TUMOR MADNESS! Please........make your shoes to fit a slider 15 and below. 20-30 and below would be optimal. And/Or like some shoe makers out there have done, made it so we can stretch the shoe out to fit a semi-normal footsize. Perhaps back in the advent of prim shoes, ppl didn't have the skills to make them sleek and streamlined, and we had to shrink our poor feet down to compensate. Well from what I've seen out there now, the talent is amazing, and there's no need to for the foot shrinking tumor inducing distortion to continue. Prim shoes are sleek, sassy, non-bulky and gosh darn sexy these days! It totally ruins the look of your lovely shoes to have a bulging ankle showing right above a sleek and sassy shoe. What say you? Can we do this? Say it with me: NO MORE TUMORS! NO MORE TUMORS! ***Note - while I may use humor to make my point here - I'm completely serious about this - ie this isnt a haha I'm bored and thot I'd make a joke post. Please: lets be the change. Thanks for listening (Added pics in case you dunno what I'm talkin about)

Prim shoes are very difficult but not impossible to improve on. Just keep Brace's suggestion in mind. Stay beautiful SL! =D

And Eggy I hope that wasn't directed towards me because you don't know a damn thing about me. btw...again the post wasnt ment to piss you off or anything......if you took it that way then so be it i sure as hell wouldnt have said anything to you if i didnt care so i guess next time this 7 foot crack whore will remember not to give a shit about the people she considers friends unlike Sen im not going to appologize to you for my opinion....and i never suggested that you be my height or anything like that but as far as it goes i just told you what everyone has been saying about your av behind your back i think your a great person and it would be nice if that showed on the outside. so for the misunderstanding in my intent i apologize but what i said was what people say about you everyday but you didnt listen inworld whan we tried to tell you so...i chose to tell you here. and to be perfectly honest if i told you the things that have been said inworld about you that im tired of defending because i do care about you then your feelings would really be hurt. So i guess i was wrong in being a freind....from your comments i see i wasnt considered that so...again this 7 foot tanned crack whore will leave you alone from now on. btw its a 7 foot black crack whore you of all people should know we come in all shades.
