A lot of sites have download limits...

Some are per day, others per week, and some per month...

Try again in a couple of days...

Or the site could just be gone.

I can't get the files either.

A direct link to the PSD files may be a problem. The host misses out on there advertising hits. Linking to a page with download links sometimes avoids this problem.

I just noticed the PS in the initial post... don't crash my friends server... oops.

There is no way 10's of thousands of us can know when that server approcahes the download limit until after it goes down.

I can't know if I am the 5th or the 5,000th person to go for the files...

I would suggest you move the files to a free file sharing server. There are bunches of them. Google on free file sharing. Pay atttention to how many times they allow people to download and how long they allow a free account to live.

Question, has anyone done or does it even seem reasonable - to have a shadow and highlight template for the skirt layer? I just made a two piece out fit and created the top and jacket with shadows ... the skirt sadly does not match exactly color wise on the first run thru. Recommendations?

I use the pants shadows, and smudge, dodge, and burn..depending on how tight the system skirt is. (I always make system skirts body hugging)

Hello Aeron Kohime, nice work. I have some limited experience with maya and had been wondering if it was possible to do what you have been describing....then I came across your post. Is it possible to share your method in a bit more detail ? I can load the SL models up and render them, but am unsure how to bake them and get them into a usable form for the clothing templates.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I use the same templates for male, you just have to do a little ab work

and yea Amar I'm feelin ya about the skirts, I tried to make my own but um...yea

I do use the pants bottom but its kind of a pain

I did some male templates and uploaded them to Box.net. You can find female ones with a skirt in the folder too. The versions I uploaded haven't been blurred or anything yet...figured I would leave that to you.

Decided to play with them some more.

There is a PSD file in the folder now with all of the female templates that is saved at 1024 and lightened. Male ones are on the way.

I'm not dead, was just away for awhile (I might not even be back).

As for the baking process, you just need to add a texture file to the mesh and bake the textures to it... I not sure how I could describe it really (its been a few months).

As for my friends site going down, he says your downloads are not even scratching the surface of his bandwidth, he just forgot to pay at one point and the site was closed down by his host till he payed up.

EDIT: Actually he just told me he was impressed, I apparently use more of his bandwidth then he does. He is glad its going to good use atleast. Apparently I use about 1.0 to 2.0 gb of bandwidth every month with just these files. (He claims he has 1000+ gb of bandwidth).
