I can foresee:
"Oh no, even though the world works a lot smoother because of fixed collision detection, my vehicle doesn't properly hover 0.2 meters from the ground anymore!"
"HTML has co-opted my notecard business! Screw you, Linden Lab!"
or if SL integrates with Jabber: "Oh, no, the script that I took 6 months on to translate IRC and SL chat via XML RPC is now being co-opted by Linden Lab's "chat monopoly"!

Yes. Complaining is the finest tuned skill of the human race.
I'd like to bitch about people bitching so much. Welcome to the meta-bitch.

I'll complain.
"HTML on a prim makes my quad-processor Athlon 2 run like a dog whenever I enter a mall"
And 300 people will say...
"It's fine on my Hypercore Octet! Get a real computer, old-timer!"

Of course everyone will complain. Content will break, LL's implementation will be buggy, bare-bones, lacking vital features that will be promised but never worked on... unless, of course, it goes very differently from the so-called "UI revamp" in 1.2, XML-RPC in 1.3, animations in 1.4, and, more recently, HUDs

Havok what?
I'll complain about HTML-on-a-stick if I get bombarded with a hundred new browser objects opening whenever I log in. Which will happen unless it's restricted. But that's not going to arrive before we're all logging in through neural interfaces either.

And when you get neural interfaces you'll get infected with a virus that puts a Hindi ad for a roach motel in the lower left corner of your visual field for weeks until you top yourself...

Yes. We'll complain that our ungrateful great-grandchildren haven't come over to change our adult-diapers in a week, and that Permissions still haven't been done well.

My understanding was that they tried Havok 2 and couldn't get it to happen and are starting with Havok 3..
.. which given the timeframe makes its release about the 8th of never.

Also demand compensation for their SL Business Being Nerfed By Unfair Competition. Or Something.
Nerfed? If that gets into the Oxford English Dictionary, I shall cancel my subscription.

People will complain about anything. Hell I bet people will complain about free money.... Oh wait, they already do..
The saying "You can't please all of the people all the time" is no more true than in MMOGs.

Yeah, people will be complaining about either of them. It's in our nature to not be happy with what we have and want more. We'll get Havok 3 (or now 4? >.>; ) and then there will be several hundred people complaining about how their cars don't handle like they use to, or how they can't go super sonic to punch through the wall of someone's house, or some other stupid shit. >P
Likewise with HTML, people want it but the moment we get it there's going to be at least two dozen browsers per 30m^2 in all malls and you'll hear all these people complaining about how they get internet spam, or their computers sieze up from the memory overhead, or how "omg there's pr0n on this page in front of a shop for lacy outfits!"
I think before we get HTML on a prim we need access to the estate tools that prevent the usage of specific functions so we can prevent browsers from popping up anywhere and everywhere on our land.
