Inside of a week or two I'll have a working 'freindly' combat system set up with destructing envorinments, and weapons that don't quite kill you instantly. My group, STLKR, will be holding missions in sandboxes, and residences where people allow us to set up. (Yes, I killed off the SLUTS group, this is new group).
STLKR (an abbreviation, not an acronym) also has another purpose. To tresspass on private builds, leave 'momentos' of our visits, and to raise a little havok on what has become a really boring place as of late.
We will be tresspassing on private property. We will be circumventing your weak security ind AR ones that that we don't like. We will not shoot you, unless you shoot first (asshole). We will carry weapons in case they are needed, and because they look good with the outfits. We may also carry other goodies, like pizza boxes, suitcases, or dry cleaning. We may also deliver a telegram, so dont kill us right off.
Oh.... and if you see a person in the shadows, crouching in the distance.... yes, they might be there for you.
I'm bored. The grid needs to be exploitedored. And this forum needs a 'strike' tag.

Burke, just because you find SL boring doesn't mean everyone does. There is plenty of creativity and enthusiasm around, and if you are stupid enough not to see it and want to upset people in this way then I have an AR ready for you. This is not encouragement, by the way, in case it needs spelling out.

So, you're going to be griefing, basically.
Update your ban lists and security bots, folks.

Nah. Not everyone is bored. I'm just trying to fight burnout. Exploring beilds, etc. And looking at all this stupid drama nonsense lately is getting on my nerves.
It's not greifing if I don't hurt or attack anyone, right? If I'm just lurking around.

the point SL is for people to do what ever they want and for users to have as many options as they want i don't see why you have to respond in such a negitive way garnet.
If you do use sand boxes please have stated times and use more vacant ones so you don't jostle everyone up and get in everyones way, if i were you i would have an extra laser tag attachment so people not playing can't be shot.

I can entirley understand why users would think SL would become boring. It isn't a RL, it still very detached.

From: Rax Jessop I can entirley understand why users would think SL would become boring. It isn't a RL, it still very detached. I'm personally bored lately. This might be some freak aspergers reaction to getting a real job and having things go mostly in my favor. (with a few critical snags). I'm in a trolling mood becaus the forum is jammed with petty bitching about You Know Who. And I thought I'd throw some lube in. STLKR, like most of my other stuff, is about exploring SL. Only it's more fun when you can 'interact' with it. Instead of standing around going 'ooh, pretty'.

There are many reasons why people want security and I personally support a persons right to have security for whatever their reason might be.

If you open-source your damage system I'll be happy to build some challenging security devices.
Actually, I've been looking for a proper PvP system - the only one I know about is Cubey's, but that's designed for vehicles.

But I would AR jerks with their settings cranked too high. Privacy is one thing, but... I asked CrystalShard about her FragFoo engine. I'll be working on things like shattering glass, breachable doors, and breakable walls. I would need someone's help with minimizing runtime.

Thanks for the warning - wanders off to add Burke Prefect to her ban list and all security devices and added to ignore list in forums. Isn;t it great when jerks delcare themselves jerks in advance? O'm used to having to take a minute or 2 to realize they are morons

It's not like I get any warning when I fly over a parcel on my way somewhere and get TP'd HOME INSTANTLY.

Hmmm, having met Burke personally in world, I dont see him as a griefer, a jerk, or any other accusation ive seen leveled at him here. from the outset, i found him civil, thought provoking, and excellent company.
Im happy to be able to call Burke a friend, and after having had conversations with him regarding his Urban strike plans, Id like to reassure his naysayers, that he does respect others privacy, and is an upstanding citizen of SL.
Its now like hes gonna burst in on you pixel slapping, and leave an impeach bush sign over your 20 prim sex bench... get over it.

Violation of Security
01-08-2006 16:50
Violating a persons right to security is a violation of rights in TOS...IF they are within the guidelines of it to begin with.....YOU need to get a life.....People have ban lists, waht are you going to see except your name on it....IF you find SL so boring maybe you should find something else to play...

From: Lucifer Baphomet snip. Its now like hes gonna burst in on you pixel slapping, and leave an impeach bush sign over your 20 prim sex bench... get over it. Security and privacy are not necessarily about sex. Sometimes people just want a quiet peaceful place devoid of strangers carrying guns.

Im aware that privacy is required for a multitude of uses...... Chance was right, a sarcasm flag is insufficient, I'll need a parade.

You know, that actually sounds fun to do... Extreme Sightseeing, if you will. Sadly, I do not have my own land (yet), so I can't set up anything interesting for anyone to discover. Besides, there is much worse things one can do to someone than raiding someone's virtual fridge.

I was flying along, minding my own business when suddenly I was ejected from my ship. I was able to retrieve my ship, but it's such a pain in the ass to be flying along minding my own business... Please utilize the warnings with home security orbs. Give the innocent a fighting chance

OMG! This is awful. If you dare to leave anything on any of my land and I have to spend 2 minutes with the land tools returning it to you.....well, I will not rest until you are punished accordingly.
