From: Travis Lambert Is there anything special about DaBoom - like increased terraform or prim limits?
If not.... this is either an advertising tactic, or someone's smoking some high quality crack rock - considering that you can pick up a new virgin sim at auction between US$1000-US$1500. God knows there ain't nothing virginal about DaBoom

The value of the edge should never be represented as a number greater than zero.

From: Hank Ramos It's priced for motivated buyers. It couldn't be that motivated if you put 50,000 volts through it!

Nothing special about the sim. If I had the money I'd erase Edge off the map and watch DaBoom and it's neighboring sims make the loudest collective sigh in SL history.

From: Hank Ramos The land isn't really for sale. The price was jacked up so high so that they'd get FREE advertising in the forums for the club. There is no such thing as bad publicity! Yah I've seen that before - although I have oft wondered at how much fun it would be to buy the land and return the items on it if I had the money.. If I had a webcam of the owner - it would be soo worth it in some cases

From: Travis Lambert Is there anything special about DaBoom - like increased terraform or prim limits? DaBoom is one of the original sims so it's fully terraformable. They don't make 'em like that anymore. That being said, no land in SL is worth 20k USD

I would love to purchase the land just to close down the club. If only I had that kind of money.

Having said that, can anyone remember a time when DaBoom wasn't lagged to high heaven?

From: Frans Charming Is the name of the sim a reference to the Big Bang? It's a reference to DeBoom alley in SF. All of the original sims were named after streets and alleys near LL's old office. The second batch of sims was named after colors. http://history.secondserver.net/index.php/Sim_Histories

Da Boom

I seen this set for sale. My first thoughts were long sleeve jackets and rubber rooms. My second thought was well, lets stick with my first its more accurate. Reminds me of a recent ebay story were a guy paid 650.00 usd for a xbox 360 BOX, yes a empty box. BTW 5,000,000 L$ is $18,071.15 usd. Wonder if she'll pay her taxes on that...........LMAO

From: Frans Charming So it started all with a Dutch street name, how nice. And now its a Dutch Oven. A better question is, why is the proprietor of this place, who games systems (traffic using mouse movers, advertising through event spam and now this), and a person who has been caught selling freebies many, many times STILL IN LIVE HELP?! ARGH.

They can be ridiculed by everyone to get them to change, or you can have LL change the TOS rules.

Yes, violating the spirit of the law when you're not violating the letter of the law is truly admirable. Like the US Govenment is doing with interrogation abroad. Truly honorable and admirable in every way. Because they say so.
