Hi everyone.

I crashed right about the time Phillip arrived and have been unable to get back in. Now I have to give up to go pick up my daughter.

So I am here to beg anyone who managed to stay logged in and has a transcript to please please please send me a copy in world on a notecard? Please? :)

Bye for now and hope the Birthday Celebration is going great!

My client actually froze and crashed, and I'd hazard a guess that many others suffered the same in that area.

I heard someone say that the stage got hit with a griefer attack. Rather ironic that the exact thing we are protesting against - unverified, untraceable, unlimited account creation, is almost definitely the root cause of these griefer attacks. Yet LL continue to keep their heads in the sand and say it's a good thing.

Two grid crashes in less than 3 hours.... yep, that's good alright........

For anybody in the Grid and at the speech, can you get the URL of the audio stream they are using? I'd like to be able to listen in, even if I cannot get into the game itself.

I, too, would like a transcript of their talks.

I've crashed 3 times now.

So was it really necessary to have sim-crossing, rotating benches at a avatar and script heavy meeting like this?

This last crash happened after someone dropped what looked to be a giant prim bug on Philip...

I just got crashed from the gathering place for the second time and I won't try again. It's a total joke. SL can't even support a hundred people in 4 adjoining sims without constantly crashing and they want to reach 1 million users??? What a joke.

Just before crashing the second time, I saw multicolored torii appear right around Phillip...

Maybe his universe just imploded...

*snort* Yes, obviously, so there'd be a 1 in 4 chance that someone would be able to stick it out. I just crashed because of that idiotic prim too.

Giant colorful plywood prims to be exact. Though I couldn't check the owner before I crashed.

I'm wondering why they had the "create objects" box active.

Oh well. I hope the at least release the audio of it to MP3 or at minimum, a transcript of what would have been said.

I tried to get a name and missed...

I'm glad it's not just me though, I'd hate to miss something after sitting there waiting for 3 hours for the event :)

This really is ridiculous, in the past half hour I crashed over 6 times... And since the database was down it takes about 6-8 minutes to log on each time...

First I just got to the rotating benches and not even 5 minutes later I crash without reason. Spent 15 minutes getting back on, opened the map to tp back and SL froze and I had to restart my computer. Got back and spent another maybe 5-6 minutes logging on, then while in the middle of a tp SL disconnected me for no reason. Logged on AGAIN, and JUST when I got back the griefer dropped whatever the hell on phillip... Got back AGAIn and got instantly disconnected again. Now i'm trying to login again

edit: Just got on and that giant prim IS STILL THERE? Oh good lord

Well, I got in for about 30 seconds just now, and it seemed the meeting was still going on. There were a lot of people still there, but after walking through treacle I got within shouting distance and crashed again. :(

I wonder how many people have been asking themselves this evening why they are actually bothering with this place?

Yeah that's why we're crashing still...I teleported to about 500 feet up...there's actually a whole tower of these things extending into the sky.

Georgian is down completely. I got back in long enough to see the red sim on the map. Tried to get back across to the area again and got kicked again.

I hope you are all filing bug reports on this, just to make sure the Lindens take notice... yes, this is sarcasm...

*shakes head* Well this bites hard. But hey the Open Registration Crowd seem to have unwittingly made their part. I logged back in and tried to get back to the speech area but I crashed the second the Bug or whatever the heck that Giant prim is rezzed.

I did manage to find out that Philip Linden and Robin Linden were not online so guess we will see another delay in speech.

We should also expect to see an increased outrage against griefers in general, a well deserved outrage might I add.

For those who can't log on, I can report on the current meeting with Philip:

Denial.
Empty promises.
More denial.
Toss out some meaningless figures.
Change the subject.
Numerous crashes from a ridiculous rotating bench build.
Lots of angry comments from residents.
More empty promises.
Talking about unrelated issues.
Even more denial.
Condesending talk from LL staff.

All in all, a real clusterfuck.
