Hello, I am a 3rd year psychology student at the University of Portsmouth (UK). I am looking for members to take part in a questionnaire based study into the Second Life community. Participants will be required to answer a serious of questions about their feelings towards Second Life.

Please contact Leanne Mifflin inworld or e-mail: psy30077@port.ac.uk if you are interested in taking part - the questionnaire is available in both word document and notecard format.

All who complete the questionnaire will be entered into a raffle to win 5000$L. The raffle will take place on the 15th March 2006.

Thank You in advance

Leanne

Did you get Linden permission for this, theyre fairly strict about this sort of thing.

That said, drop me a questionaire in world, and ill probably fill it out

You could let me have one, but I will only answer it if the questions are unambiguous and sensible!

Thanks, I will drop you a notecard inworld :) I'm not sure if I meet the criteria, as psychology tends to be ambiguous and not sensible ;) If you do fill it in - thanks!

I love how every time we have someone showing an academic interest, someone pipes up to say SHOW ME YOUR PAPERS.

Is it suspicion or genuine concern? I always wonder :)

Furthermore, as Second Life goes to the Metaverse, and this becomes an open platform, Linden Lab risks lawsuit in court and will, I repeat WILL be reverse in court.

I'm suspicious of your concerns, Enabran. :p

Leanne, I'll take that questionaire. You need a statistical outlier to be taken seriously anyway. ;)

I think people just like to say "show me your papers." The only reasonable response is to wave your hand and say:"These are not the droids you're looking for."
