I'd say inventing conspiracy theories, defaming others, and trying to blame everyone but yourself for your own bad behavior is way up there on the list.

grandstanding at someone else's event to prove how smart one is and how much better a person one is because one's entertainment isn't the event, but abusing the event host, that's also pretty low.

This reminds me of one event I went to long ago, something to do with "security techniques" at which someone did just that. Unlike the garden variety troublemakers who do stuff like get on the stage during a game liike pictionary wearing giant penises and pushgunning the players and audience, this particular event wrecker went on at great length about how smart they were, how they were in the FBI or the Secret Service or some such and knew everything about real world security techniques in addition to everything about SL security techniques, and how stupid and imcompetent the event host was. They didn't do anything but chat, but they sure did ruin the event hosts efforts and spoil the show for the audience. If they thought they were gonna get any business as a result of the rude behavior they displayed they had to have been ought of their head as well as just a mannerless boor needing attention.

Grrrrrrr..... at least a year old and it still makes me mad.

On a serious note, that is without a doubt the worst crime.

She died since then. I just found out today. I have no job and need the little money I make here while I look for another, I can be a real B**** and stand up for myself- I can accept obnoxious builds next to me, thieves, I can mute people I dont want to hear, I can TP away from people I dont want to be around, but I will NEVER forgive or forget what one A****** did one day.

this was a very sad story.

i'm with persephone on this example. this leaves the bounds of sl. in rl it's legal to be a jerk, but we a draw a line at harassment. so in my opinion, like the denial of service attacks that bring down the grid, this might be a rl crime if it was harassment.

You know there are a few of those low life people owning clubs that are causes countless mental abuses. I was lucky I got out of that club when i did. But there are a few people these loser club owner keeps sucking back in each time she causes drama for them. Just to cause harm for them because they themselves have a mental problem or have been mentally hurt too much in their real life. These two low life club owner that play the power play of the mind just for their own sick messedup fun.
One day I asked one of these poor people why she keeps going back to that club over and over again for the past two years.. she replied " she never did anything to me" Well she says this because she know no better. And Is scaried to say the truth.....I know this because I seen for my own eyes what she sick club owner did to her and will. Sad indeed sean Sad indeed

When in god mode, the Lindens can effectively disappear from llSensor() sweeps. However, you can still grief them with physical objects! YAY! (Warning: proceed at your own risk.)

The hardest Linden to ever grief, which had a mega-super-god mode thing going on was Video Linden. We figured out how to get him though; you could have one object spawn physical objects uses llRezObject() and that would move him. Gawd, what boredom will do to ya.

An interesting poll, J-Wu. Funny how a virtual world develops its own virtual morality. With issues like murder and property theft largely impossible, SL's morality develops around the bad things that CAN happen.

I selected "Selling Freebies." More specifically, I think it's wrong to sell freebies without telling the customer that the item already exists in their inventory, or that they can obtain their own free copy by IMing the creator. It's failure to disclose this information that makes the practice dishonest and hurtful to the victim.

On the other hand, if you tell somebody "I am selling the Aimee Car for 200 L$, but you can obtain it for free by IMing her when she logs on." Then I think that's fine. It may be worth 200 L$ to not have to wait for me.

With issues like murder and property theft largely impossible, SL's morality develops around the bad things that CAN happen. I selected "Selling Freebies." More specifically, I think it's wrong to sell freebies without telling the customer that the item already exists in their inventory, or that they can obtain their own free copy by IMing the creator. It's failure to disclose this information that makes the practice dishonest and hurtful to the victim. On the other hand, if you tell somebody "I am selling the Aimee Car for 200 L$, but you can obtain it for free by IMing her when she logs on." Then I think that's fine. It may be worth 200 L$ to not have to wait for me. _____________________
