Fate Gardens in Taber posted a classified for the requisite 50L. I'll report any appreciable difference in sales or traffic over the next two weeks here. That is, assuming I can find the thread of course.

New FREE sl businessGuide (Classifieds)

Man, I hope this isn't the end of the forum classifieds. Frankly, the inworld classifieds blow. I never use 'em, either to buy or sell. The forum classifieds make it easy to see what new stuff is out. On 29th April we will be launching a sl businessGuide available free to all residents. The guide can be obtained by subscription via the website. The guide is a business brochure with goods and services provided by sl business owners arranged by category and is in PDF form. Each fortnight when the new guide is ready an email will be sent to subscribers notifying them. /For example if you are looking for Textures the table of contents will be linked to those pages. Once you find the business you are looking for you can click on the location co-ordinates in the ad and presto, you are teleported there.It will be published every fortnight after the first week of release. As I said its free to all residents . The revenue to publish the guide comes from our advertisers. There will also be dispensers located around SL at the premises of those who advertise in it. So residents will be able to pick up a copy of the guide as they go about shopping. For information on subscriptions advertising or just to have a look you can see it on display at the Mudge Mcann Marketing office at Sylvata 38,54,42. Mudge, Great Initiative.
 [rant] But why for the love of everything that is dear to me, are you going to do this in f**king PDF? As i understand from what i read here, the intent is to read it online and click on links. PDF is most usefull if your intended audience is going to print it. PDF is a way to ensure that it will look the same everywhere, but there are other ways to do that in just html/css. I have never enjoyed reading anything in PDF on my monitor. It is just clumsy and impratical. Please reconsider. PS. Advertising in the general forum is frowned upon.
