I found the article to be the usual mix of boring filler and with the sources he used to speak for SL's playerbase? *snort* Not a good sampling, since obviously, from the fact that he said that none had actually seen age-play taken to the sexual level. So, he couldn't find anyone in SL who would admit to it or defend it. To be a 'fair sampling' you have to have someone from BOTH sides.

Not at all. By no means is that needed. His wasn't a fair sampling, but it's not needed that you have people from both sides - that's not always even possible.

Well..it was and is a non-issue at present. Unfortunately, the person that cried wolf to the media probably did their cause far more harm than good.

Now potential pedophiles, as well as just folks that might wanna try this adult + adult kink, will see it, read it, and decide that Second Life is the place to do it.

So, instead of getting their "It's Wrong!" message across, they merely provided free advertising, with assurances that it isn't illegal, to alot more people.
