It's midnight! This is my cool down time where I relax in SL and pretend to create content! But the grid is down! *WEEP* And Instead of staring at the screen with my jaw hanging half open pressing "Log In" 200 times in a row, I did other things. Here's what I did... went to sl.me.com and revamped my profile. Checked my email and aplogized to those I've been neglecting; Blamed SL. Read these forums until my eyes bled. Peeked around my monitor at Cheers on TVLand. Went and watched the latest episode of my favorite webtoon at www.makingfiends.com Ate doritoes and chewed like a cow. AND THEN.... came back and hit "Log in" 200 times while staring at the screen like a mystified corpse. Coffee and brb.

chatted with a friend who was trying SL for the first time, explained to him that it should be back up in a couple hours
tried logging in even though I just checked here and it says nothing about it being up
glanced at hubby, yep he is still there
read the forums, make some weak attempts at humor
dreaming about the clothing I will someday design in SL
tried logging in again... chatted with friend some more
tried playing a game I used to play and can't remember the password
going to browse sl botique
and try to log in a couple more time
coffee sounds good

Tried logging in a few times.. Fretted about the possiblity of losing the object that I was building at the time of the crash.. Played the Sims 2 for about an hour.. Read some forums.. Tried to log in again.. Fretted more.. Came back and read more.. Watched my sweetie play his game for a little.. Tried to log in again.. *sigh* And now I am posting this and then I'm going to try to log in again, I'm hopeless.

Nothing much, just chatting here and playing Doom II on Ultra-Violence in another window in the meantime. Nothing like mowing down armies of demons with a chainsaw to relieve the angry emotions of having lsot a chunk of a 2000 prim project yet again. XP
...oooh and there's coffee involved. Much coffee.

Tried to get work done for projects due next week.
Then just sorta crawled aimlessly through the forums.

Slept! Just for once, a useful side to being 8 hours ahead of SL time. Since it's down now, I'm going into work to do stuff earlier than I would have done on what was my day off and then actually GETTING a day off. Spring cleaning will follow RL rather than inventory Expected scenario if SL not back up in a few hours = curse whoever has cause the database overload and marvel at the irony as the reason why I have to go into work on my day off relates to training someone about a system with a database problem. Wait for RL to catch up and give me a Modlife house to live in ...

I did Housework *bleah*
04-29-2006 02:47
I was gripped in the midst of romantic passion with Frederic when we went down. I was a victim of this persons script as well.
So when we went down I vacuumed all the house. Cleaned the bathroom and toilet. Washed and hung out the bath mats.
Emailed a friend who is on SL. Looked at sl.me.com. Looked at MySpace. Spoke to a friend on Trillian. Time just flew (NOT). Called the doctor
It was afternoon for me when the grid went down.
