If I can't hate Foobies, can I hate the people with talking pregnancy attachments, and people who assume since my avatar is currently going through an anime phase and looks young I must be an age player?

Spamming fetuses are banned from my land. If someone is on my land and their fetus "talks" and it doesn't say, "Hit the crack pipe again mommy, I'm jonesing." they *will* find themselves ejected and banned.

Sorry, had a rough day in SL, spammy fetuses hurt my brain.

Well, to start off, I don't go around checking profiles for the person's payment status. Most of the time, you can tell if someone is on your land, or at a meeting place to cause trouble, their actions give them away. Personally, I have met some really great people who are new to SL, and are free members. And guess what, they appreciate the help anyone can give them. In fact, one of my new friends is actually looking into becoming a full paying member, and buying land, cause they have met, and enjoyed the interaction with others in SL, and the crazy creative potential here.

I just think that we as members shouldn't get all up in a tizzy, because of a few individuals who want to act like morons. I understand the need to protect oneself against legal ramifications from passing adult information to a minor, but being paranoid over the situations is not the way to handle it. One thing that can be done is to learn the signs of a griefer. Learn their identifying actions, the things that say, "I am an idiot, and I am here to cause problems", such as the quick movement around the area where they teleported into the local sim. These people are already nervous, and most know they can be booted from your land, or the sim they are in for being a moron. So, along with that, they are usually being nosey about what is going on in the local area. Asking really dumb questions, telling you they are teenagers, and so forth. Listen, they are here to cause trouble, and so they will do anything that will accomplish that task. I have seen adults do the same things, but they are much more reserved, and sneaky about the way they handle the tasks of trouble making.

I just don't really see what all the hipe is all about in regards to free newbies(foobies, what a stupid term, just created to make the free nwebie look even worse). Remember, at the other end of the IP line is a person, a real honest to goodness person, who has feelings, and is much like yourself. So to say every free newbie is a kid, or a trouble maker is really saying that we all are such. What? just because someone is not able to get financing enough to enjoy having a credit card to prove their age, then they are total low lifes, and should be considered low class, or criminal citizens. Geez, this starting to sound like real life more, and more.

Out of about ten free newbies I have met, only one has been a trouble maker, and was dealt with swiftly when reported. So, I have no complaints about free newbies, but I do with some of the people who seem to want to take this wonderful world of 3D, and change it into real life.

Heh... Actually Paca. Siggy has been known to whip out a scripted bit of mayhem while we all sit back and watch the fun.

I am so confused. Last I checked you needed a fairly decent computer and broadband to be in SL - to say nothing of some free time. My definition of low income must be significantly different. Back when I was living on ramen, no way could I have afforded the above bills.

You mean you can afford a computer able to run SL, a ISP fast enough for SL the time to play SL instead working for the money you dont have and 50 cents for validating just bust your budget completly?
