I heard from a friend ingame that there is rumours of a "Second Life 2". Could anyone confirm they heard such a similiar rumour too? It perked my curiosity.

I don't know about Second Life 2, but I heard there may be a TV series in the works that picks up where Second Life 1 ended. And did I hear there may be a book adaptation? _____________________

Huh. I don't know about Second Life 2, but I heard there may be a TV series in the works that picks up where Second Life 1 ended. And did I hear there may be a book adaptation? I hear the sequel to Second Life is a low budget hack job. None of the original stars are coming back, and they are replacing the thought-provoking metaverse experiment with kung-fu fighting to rap music. _____________________

 Actually, I heard they were trying to get Kevin Smith for Second Life 2, to make it more edgy. He back out of the project, tho....cuz the forums were just "way too intense" for him. Harry Knowles gave it a good review, tho. _____________________

No, there isn't "Second Life 2". What there is is Second Life 2.0, on the horizon. But it's not "Second Life 2"... It's just an update of SL. Improved graphics engine, improved physics engine, but it's the same SL... Same world, same data, same users, etc. _____________________

There's a Main Grid, which is where we are, and a Teen Grid, which is where 13-17 year olds are. We can not visit their grid, and they cannot (barring visits incognito) come to ours.  _____________________

SL2, Designed for the new IBM Cell "Intel-PWNer" Processor, will be more or less JUST like the Metaverse as invisioned by Neal Stepenson, only less Street, and more Kung-Fu.

Actually, it's NOT SL 2 that's next. Unbeknownst to any of you, this is actually SL 4 that we're in now. Philip is exercising his longing to be George Lucas, you see.
