From: Flux Woyseck Could you possibly be anymore boring and repetitive?? And to the comment about Gor and technically, that is why I find Gor on SL to be a blasphemious joke. Well I find Gor to be a joke all the way around, people who play Gorean fall into the same catagory as the D&D freaks but like 100000000 times more annoying. As a writer of material for said "D&D freaks" out there, I have to say... They can be quite annoying as well if you find the right ones. Like me. And since you have a religion about not having Gor in SL, I just have to say that as a minority religion in SL you have been ordered "fed to the furrys until irrevocably DEAD and DIGESTED". Have a wonderful day, and please remember: "You may be a crucial cog in the machine, but even the most important parts can be replaced!"

From: Alazarin Mondrian John Norman's leaden, repeptitive prose is so bad, it gives me new-found appreciation for the refreshing sparkly effervescence of Douglas Adams and Terry Pratchett. Or Harry Harrison. Yeh, The Stainless Steel Rat rocks. All very good. If you like straight fantasy then go with Raymond E. Fiest. Always a good bet.

Well I find Gor to be a joke all the way around, people who play Gorean fall into the same catagory as the D&D freaks but like 100000000 times more annoying. Well, you may find Gor "a joke all the way around", but you so utterly missed the joke of this thread and my posts. It's called parody. I was making fun of John Norman's "boring and repetitive" writing style to pen a bit of silliness in my boredom during the downtime. Very sorry that it went over your head, sir. Next time I will stamp all my humour with a big red, "Humourous Post" before starting. And as I looked upon the weak man of Earth, Flux of Woyseck, I chastized him muchly for his lack of humour, humour being a weak and pitiful thing on Earth , not as it was on Gor where even slaves knew of true humour and recognized it when it was placed before them as it should be with all things in their right modalities as they are on Gor which is not being Earth, since Earth is weak and Gor is strong, thanks to the understanding of humour in all its correct modalities as give by the Priest-Kings and not weakened by the Earth man Phillip of Linden with his Downtime, Downtime being unknown on Gor for Gor was not Earth. I looked upon him and I chastized him for on Gor, even houseplants knew of humour and allowed their masters to display humour before them without protest, for a Master is a master and a houseplant is a houseplant, and this is the way of things on Gor, not as it was on Earth where masters were weak and houseplants knew not of true humour.

From: Josie McGann That could be a whole new business for a here-un named maker of scripted sex-stuff "Ishmael Yoder's Buggywhip: Bessie the cow is smote mightily across the flanks as Ishmeal puts his manly shoulders into the swing. MOO says Bessie !" *sound of cow-poop plopping onto the barn floor* Just think of it- Virtual Barn Raisings, Butter Churning contests! Naturally no "bling" would be seen. No fancy skins either. Just simple Avatars. No fancy scripting- for that is vanity. Any griefers would be sent to our own version of the Cornfield, which would also be like "Children of the Corn".

From: Zoe Llewelyn I looked upon the slaves that knelt before me, as slaves should do here on Gor where the correct modal;ity of all things is known, unlike on Erath where men are weak and women know not their place and the joys of being a slave to a true man, as they do on Gor where all things are as they are supposed to be as each per there modality.
I looked upon them, these slave women, Kelly of Linden and Jeska of Linden as they knelt and I pondered these things as I looked upon them , them kneeling as I looked on as should be with women and masters of Gor. I looked upon them, kneeling and bowed and I frowned, for I was displeased. Frowning on Gor being more than the simple, weak frowning of men on Earth that know not of true frowning.
"Why, girl do we have this 'downtime' that was brought from Earth by the weak man, Phillip of Linden?" I said.
I said this andfrowned and as I frowned they bowed further, feeling my displeasure as only women who have been trained in the ways of Gor can know a master's displeasure, both sensing it and feeling it within as it is in the modality of a slave to feel in their very core the displeasure of their master muchly.
"This 'downtime' should not have been allowed to accompany the weak earth man, Phillip of Linden to Gor. Why has this been allowed, girl. Why have you allowed Phllip of Linden to bring this weak 'downtime' among us?" I said, displeased.
One of the slaves, the girl, Jeska of Linden spoke, speaking being the means by which she addressed me, as is the way slaves address their master on Gor. She spoke and there was fear in her voice, and she kept her head bowed as she knelt. Kneeling being the manner in which all slaves of Gor went before their masters since the time of the coming of the Priest-Kings who brought to Gor the muchly neede d modalities that makes Gor strong and has left Earth men weak and their women not knowing the pleasures of serving a true man of Gor as is the way of proper things, each as in their proper modality. On Gor it is so, and no slave may go before her master except in kneeling, for it is the proper way of slaves.
"Master, " she said.
"I knew not of this 'downtime' of the earth man, Phillip of Linden," she said.
"I knew it not and it was unknown to me, me being now trained in the ways of Gor as a woman should be, " she said.
I frowned, because I was displeased, and she cringed and bowed her head further, for she felt my displeasure, as is the way of slaves and masters here on Gor where all things know their proper place.
"Bring this Phllip of Linden before me, that I may look upon his weakness and chastize him for this 'downtime'", I said.
To BE CONTINUED... Kelly is a guy... Just sayin'.

From: Karsten Rutledge Kelly is a guy... Just sayin'. Sure, by earth standards maybe Kelly is a guy because Earth does not have proper modality. But the modality of Gor places Kelly of Linden as a girl. Not like Earth where things are confused and some names are used for both men and women. That is a lack of modality, and is weak and confusing and leads to cross gender furry role play.

When Gor discovers television I wonder if their Saturday morning cartoons will feature anthropomorphic animals like ours do, or if there will be strict government control to regulate television to ensure no weak and improper shows make it to air.

From: Burke Prefect Granted, if I had 'girls' of my own, they'd be standing, armed, and handling my light work. LOL!
