From: Doubledown Tandino I'm fine with celebrities popping into SL. I'm fine with RL companies setting up SL shop.
What I am not fine with is the RL companies (and LL) declaring some sort of statement that is false... usually "We are the first to...." That is exactly what I meant to say in the first place - then I got sidetracked. Could you write my next post for me Doubletown? These word things are not really my strongest point.

Are you still a celebrity if the majority of people have no clue who you are? The term celebrity seems to be used rather losely.

From: Olympia Rebus Maybe we all should start a new group: Z-list ! I was an extra in the movie "Dead Poets Society" http://imdb.com/title/tt0097165/ does that count? LOL

I'm not crazy about it either, Vlad. But these people will come . . . and they will go. I think of them as people who come in SL briefly to entertain.

From: vivi Odets But of course! Welcome to the Z-list! and I might add, I recently discovered that my car has a cameo role in an el-cheapo cable add for a local resturaunt (which I sometimes park in front of.) It ends with a cut to the facade of the joint and there's my car. I actually saw the comercial about five times before I noticed and confirmed it was mine. Maybe I should get a vanity plate that reads "Z-list"

From: Vlad Bjornson Am I the only one who finds it annoying when a big 1st Life company comes into second life and loudly proclaims itself the '1st *whatever* to create a presence in a Virtual World'?
I dunno what they are thinking but I'm sure many more RL companies have merged into SL long before them. Mine started as local RL company long before I heard of SL. And I've slowly merged SL as part of the market. Not like it's a big deal. I thought many people have done this. So yeah I'd say thats kinda stupid too lol

No friggin way?!?!?! Small world!!! I went to college with someone who was an extra in Dead Poet's Society too.... in the movie, there's a play, and she played the smallest tree... her brother is Seth Green. Way too cool! I knew that 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon game worked within SL!!
