Torley as Torley is infinitely valuable because... shit, look at all that. The sheer enthusiasm for this entire wad of stuff is staggering.
Asking Torley to conceal Torley is like asking an elephant to hide behind a shoebox.
So. You want to hire Torley. You can't hide Torley, but even if you did, it would defeat the purpose of having Torley in the first place.
Thus, Torley must equal Torley as the exception to the rule of Levelling-up to Lindenhood. The exception that prevents the universe from inverting itself into a klein bottle of lint and fear.
It all makes sense on a sort of cosmic scale, I think. I must admit I accepted this from the outset, even before Torley was a Linden. "If Torley were a Linden, it would have to be Torley Linden. Nothing else would work."
God, I'm tired.

It is a rare thing indeed to find someone whom 1) Is incredibly visible and well known throughout a group of people, 2) Whom acts continuously with postiveness and enthusiasm, and, 3) Has not pissed off a segment of suck group. Truly, this is one of the more positive moves LL has done and they are extremely fortunate to have had hired Torley. While most are congratulating Torley, I feel it is LL whom truly is the more fortunate in this change of events.
