I'm sorry if I sounded flippant. I know that deleting friends from your calling cards is not a preferred option. I'm looking into what we can do to give you more privacy, short of making avatars completely invisible.

Thanks for taking a look into it Robin - I don't think it sounded flippant, I just don't believe it to be a workable solution. Please take a look at this thread for more ideas:

There's also a method proposed in there that should take a significant amount of traffic off of some of SL's core servers.

Regards,

-Flip

While you are at it, please ask them to look into extending the RED FENCE HEIGHT! What good does that stupid fence do, when your lot is built on a slope, and the roof of your house sticks out above it, and all someone has to do is land on the roof and pan and zoom and listen in to their heart's content?

*grumbles and wonders WHY so many turn to the aggressive privacy scripts just to have some semblance of a peaceful home life within SL*

when i want absolute privacy i log in as one of my alts its very convenient for me only my 3 very closest friends have my alts calling cards and when i want privacy i am usually with one of them working on some project.

owning a business in second life there is never never never a time that i would not want crucial to get every single im that comes in.
if a customer calls me about a potential problem or with a request for something special i never ever want to Not get that IM off line or on line.
or if one of my tenants from my malls or islands calls me with a problem i also want to be able to get that im.
from the lenth of time many of you have been in second life i cant imagin most if not all of you not having a secret alt account you could use for absolute privacy.
and if you don't get one :D
