Is this bad buisness part two :-)

I want to thank every single person for there responce to my thread. Those who stuck by there friends. Those who voiced pros as well as cons showed true character. I will have this to say I went to a shop and bought some more hair seeing that a test of sorts was appropriate just to see how others handle a situation. I did tell the owner that i didn't like the hair and as she explained to me her policy, there were no remarks as to character or otherwise simply put she said I am sorry that you did this but here I want my customers to be happy and promptly asked what I needed and gave it to me. I was honest and told what I was doing and paid her for the hair. Thanked her and now she has a buyer for life.

Y'know what you never seemed to 'get' was that if a item is set no transfer and copy ok and clearly displayed as such its your responsibility not the stores owner if you make a mistake regardless of the item being purchased.

Asking for a refund/exchange on that sort of object "because you made mistake" is tripe. Why? Because there is no way for you to "return" that object for and exchange/refund. You're basically asking for a free second item while keeping the original, because the owner has no way to know if you're actually deleting said original or not.

No refunds, no exchanges are in place for many types of content for that very reason, in particular with vehicles whom must be set to copy due to SL's very unforgiving environment in so far as breaking/losing vehicles are concerned. I know every so often we get a person whom 'accidentally' purchased vehicle/item X and wants a either a hefty refund or a brand new vehicle/item Y. We have to refuse, as all the vehicles are set up no transfer, no mod and copy ok, we'd be giving away the purchase price of vehicle X while letting the person keep it in the first instance or alternatively letting person keep vehicle/item X and giving them a free new vehicle/item Y. I'm sure you can see how that could quickly lead to fraudulent and rampant abuse by scads of folk accidentally buying themselves and entire product line and the hundreds of hours of work going into all those various items being lost completely. Quite the savvy business plan that.

Yours was an unreasonable and unfair position to take in particular when the item in question (hair) was clearly delineated as no transfer. Raising a unwarranted stink afterwards is bollocks, and the old saw "I get like that cause I stick by 'blahblahblah' cause they're a friend" as an excuse for poor behaviour is wearing awfully thin around here.

I see that you are in fact an "escort" of some type. What if I hired you for the evening, and come to the conclusion that you do not satisfy me. I would then of course not be happy with the product I had purchased because after reading your profile I would only have assumed that you would have been good. So I then IM the owner of the Club and demand that I get another chance at some escort that is not you, I do not wish for my money back just wish to trade it from one good to another, at no cost to club owner. Personally I think it was the ends of your hair that would have made me want to trade you in for a better model. Would you quote policy to me or would satsify me as a customer, because I can do a lot of damage to you as a whole.

So basically you wasted her time "testing" her so that you could compare her service to that of another. And if she hadn't pleased you by giving you what you wanted, then what? I wonder if maybe she had better things to do with her day than pass an arbitrary test she didn't ask to be a part of.

You know i understood both sides of the issue all along, but as a shopowner, finding out someone came into my shop and took up my time just to test me like that would have probably ticked me off.

If it was a test and I had told someone it was a test how could it have been done with an unbaised position on the owners part ?
Any store owner that fears someone testing them should look and see what and how they are conducting they're customer service. If i had a buisness in SL I'd never fear being tested.I would simply laugh ask them how i did and go on with my buisness.

I do want to say this Nearly a year ago I had bought a few things from you(Hose Queen) as an alt and you were nothing but kind and gracious adorning my avie with a couple of really nice outfits. Hugs to you Hose Queen if i offended it was never my intention sometimes taking a stand for something can and will divide people it only matters that I give the same respect to your opinion as I do to my own.

To the OP:
So... if it's your business and you say No Refunds, then of course you mean absolutely No Refunds. And why is that? Don't you trust everyone to be open and honest and only ask for a refund when it's a legitimate complaint? Are you saying people would try to screw you (no pun intended) out of money? Isn't that making assumptions to the character of your customers, which is the exact thing you had a temper tantrum about in the first place?

It seems your hypocrisy knows no bounds.

I am not in any way offended, I am able to look at a situation objectively and I do try and see both sides of any given situation. I just feel in this particular one, you are in the wrong. It doesn't mean I don't like you as a person, I just don't agree with you in this instance.
