I am officially un- mad at you nimrod Yaffle. You may have not been aware or cared I was still upset with you, but I am forgiving you today.

What'd I do to get you mad at me? :(

You do know that you can get a lockable front door right?

That's why i prefer doors that auto close. Unrealistic it might be, but people are born in a barn these days. *sigh*

I also prefer pose balls that can only be accessed when a on/off switch is set to on, and the switch only works for some people.

Some people reeeeeeally take things to the max, huh?

I can understand one not liking others to drop in while you're alone or with some company. Privacy and whatnots.

But hey, what the heck is anyone doing flipping out because people drop by their houses while they *aren't* there?

- You can't BREAK anything.
- You can't STEAL anything.
- You can't SPEND anything.
- You can't even MOVE anything around.
- At the very very worse, prims or objects might be left about - something solved mindlessly by a simple return button.

You afraid someone will see your BDSM corner? Or the porn on the walls? Well - it's the internet, what did you expect? No one would find out?

I guess it's time for a reality check, guys. This is a virtual world. Not a real world - and it's not necessarily a real world simulation either.

I'm not angry at all, just mildly annoyed. Like I said, I really don't mind people checking out my house, it's when they open the fridge, the ovens, cabinets, tv cabinet, closet doors and leave every door in the house wide open and unhide the poserballs, turn on all the stove and oven burners, and leave the faucet running...is that necessary? Open it to take a look but have the courtesy to leave it how you found it...one more click on each thing too close it again...that's all I ask. Locking my doors would keep the outer doors shut, but would do nothing to keep the inside stuff closed.

I agree too...It's very easy to look around someone's house even if you can't actually get in.

Guess the answer is to get an auto close script for all my doors.

Go into people's houses and turn on everything in sight, un-hide poser balls, and open every door they can find and then leave?? I don't mind visitors or I'd have my land private, but have some courtesy and leave the place the way you found it!

Sorry...little vent there!

And to think I got a lecture tonight from someone who objected to my security device 450m up in the air. He didn't understand why anyone would need a security system in Second Life.

You can use something as simple as a camera trick to sit inside a locked house - or the prim trick. Nothing will keep unwanted visitors out like a security device.
