Well, it's to be expected. They extreamly roleplay heavy, so unless you fit something that is plausable in their world, you won't be welcomed. Thing about gors is that they don't take that outside of their roleplay community. They won't decriminate you if you are a robot, or something like that if it's not taking place within their community.

Yea i know, but if your not a human and your just wishing to browse their shops you have to shove a ugly newbie avatar on or use SLX to buy the stuff. So it would be ok if someone made a furry sim and outcasted all who arent in furry avatars? :/ Not that we do that.. Everyones welcome in our sims as far as i know. But there are furry roleplays that disclude humans after all...

But never mind that. What matters is someone found a place they feel welcomed.

As to your question rather or not it would be ok if a group {furry} outcasted non-furries, I would say that it's ok. What they do with their group and land is their business but like any other group. Sure I feel that some outcasting is more justifiable then others though.

I'm sure they did. Rusholme is otherwise occupied right now, so I'm posting this for them.

How is this a clarification other than confirming that preditors are out there preying on people and making them believe that hate and beating are love and kindness.

I was hoping that your post was going to uproot my opinion, but it has only made it stronger.

If you have such a low opinion of yourself fine.. but PLEASE don't try to tell others that beating and hate is good for ANYONE else. :(

Hint, the only thing his post was missing was a /sarcasm

Slow people...

Hmmmmm when I wear fur even outside of Gorean sims most of them seem to treat me like a Leper. Which is honestly fine by me now that I think about it ^.~

One of the things that make SL so good is the ability of dedicated SLers to "bring to life" focused, themed, social groups and their fully realized 3D environments. Be it Gor, The world of Anne Rice's "Beauty" or Richard Adams "Watership Down". Bringing to life our fantasies for the win.

"Watership Down"? That was about widdle BUNNIES! Another one of his novels, "Maia", is the one about human slavery. I prefered "The Plague Dogs" myself. ;)

I'm simply shocked at the number of people who failed to grasp the irony of the original post.

I mean, it wasn't just dripping irony; it was actually overflowing with it. I got some splashed on my shirt, even. Do you realize how hard that is to get out?

Sounds like a project for one of the fur manufacturers.

No, we decided to play brother and sister because we are already married in another game. We thought it would be fun to roleplay and meet new friends in SL.

Not naked, you can wear silks if you like :-) you just have to be careful to colour co-ordinate your collar with your silks. Otherwise you'll be punished.

Gor is like any other roleplaying community .. its when you have your 'slaves' on Skype while you play .... thats when you know just how seriously Gor takes itself :-)

Oh Noes,

Gorean slaves would never go on Skype, they'd convince their Cult leaders that Skype is technology that the Priest kings would not allow...

...

why?

..

cause the majority of the female Goreans in SL are IRL men. ;)

Taelos is right Far too many of the On Line Goeans take themselves Too Deadly seriously, and this from people who Play at Gor like a Game. ;)
In Many of the Gorean sims i see precious little Joy.
As Yiffy pointed out, they Close themselves off from people because they Choose to be what they are. Diametricly opposed to True Gorean Philosiphy of Being Tru to ones self and doing so with Passion.
I had always advised Against the Gor Sims behaving in this exclusionary Fashion, because unfortunately it Engenders the Uninformed Opinions so often expressed by people who have No real experience of us. When ever someone spoke Patent Nonsense about us, I would respond by asking them to come, and Observe for themselves. Cocoanut K... was one person who Accepted my invitation Long ago, when we were both in TSO, and we have been friends ever since. She still doesn't agree with our Lifestyle, and i have no problem with that. What we do isn't for everyone, But she learned first hand that we are Not the Monsters that some would have you believe.
Well, That was TSO, whre Goreans were more Open, and welcoming. Where you could come among us and feel safe, and we would happily answer any question Put to us.
Would that it were entirely the same in SL.

::Sigh::

Angel.

Wrong. So sorry for your luck, lad.

As a builder, I've had the time to skype with dozens of Gorians. They seem FIRMLY entrenched in their own gender, as opposed to a large number of 'club girls' that seem to be there in 'spirit'.
