This morning i came home from work to find some prims BRIGHT YELLOW box things hanging over into my property. The prims do not belong to anyone who lives near by. I tried IMing the owner fo the prims, and I tried IMing the owner of the land next to me ( who obviously does not have autoreturn on), neither have been online. I IMed Live help at that time also to ask a Linden to remove. I was told by a Linden to contact the owner of the prims which I had already attempted to do. They ignored my request to remove them:/

Return them via the About Land controls.

Rent land on an estate that's managed by people who care that your virtual environment is pleasant.

Return them via the About Land controls. The center of the objects sounds like it's over his neighbor's land not his own land, he won't be able to. Maybe some day we'll have the ability to enforce our own easement boundaries. |

What will it take for Linden lab to remove these prims? An Abuse Report would be the next thing to do if the owner doesn't reply to your IMs. |

I am told that my serious advice was unsound and have thus deleted it, leaving only the unserious advise:
If you are in the FIC or have any friends in the FIC you can of course just have them tell Philip to come take out the trash. ![]() _____________________

Use the find command, people tab, to find online Lindens, check their group list to locate a liaison. Send an IM to one liaison - explain that you have a problem which requires they come to your place so that you can show them what the problem is. Once you get them there where you can show them, explain the problem and ask them to move the objects to where they aren't on your property. If they won't do it , wait a while and do it again with a different liaison. Keep track of which liaisons you have asked. Keep doing this until you have asked every single one of them. This might take a good while, days or weeks, since they aren't all online at once but it might work. If you are in the FIC or have any friends in the FIC you can of course just have them tell Philip to come take out the trash. ![]() I have been informed that Liason's are no longer able to remove rogue prims. I am not willing to wait weeks:/ |

If you don't get results from the AR, start IM'ing Phillip directly.
Worked for me. |

If you file an Abuse Report, the Abuse Team has both the authority and the ability to remove the prim. Liaisons can't remove prims from land other than Governor Linden's land.

after almost three years of putting up with that shit, i came to only one conclusion....i had to buy an island. i hate that it was the only solution, but for the first time since being in second life i am finally 100% happy. (i've been 95% happy until now)
when people left garbage hanging over my old land, NO ONE WOULD HELP AND ABUSE REPORTS WERE IGNORED! i just kept buying small plots of land and then i sold them all and had enough to buy an island. i hope you can do it, it has made ALL the difference in the world for this avatar. bette aka reddish tigereye happy idiot _____________________

Liaisons can't remove prims from land other than Governor Linden's land. -Kenny Or instead of posting here, Lindens could just fix the problem. ARing does nothing. I've tried. Several times. Never had any success. The AR system and management needs revamped imo. Apparently LL also thinks so as that was part of the reason that was given for removing PvP reports due to swamping of the AR team. And no, this isn't an attack on Lindens, so don't get your knickers in a twist. I'm only pointing out that the current system doesn't work imo. It's only my opinion. You may listen to it, or ignore it as you chose. ~Jessy _____________________

Uli (76,251,2 ![]() and Uli (77, 254,30) I filed an abuse report with the following: Two objects named ybr-crossing and ybr-straight owned by [owner's name] are extending into property owned by the group Lothlorien Elven Land Group The founder of the group: Luthien Unsung asks that these objects be removed from his land. I sent the object's owner an IM: "There is an object belonging to you at Uli (76,251,2 which the owner would like you to move. Thanks. "Nice build you have there, I can see why you don't want them messed up with stray prims. Anyone could file an abuse report about this - maybe it would get some action if more reports were filed. They's need to include the locations given above if they are filed from somewhere other than the object's location. _____________________
