The Jake Reitveld rule: Being Jake Reitveld (or John Malkovitch too) means you win 100% of the time no matter what the score is.

Hehehe.

Some where in the realm of mobius strips and non-euclidean geometry, this actually works.

I've mulled this over and decided that keeping score is not good for the morale of losers, the language challenged, people who have too much work to do to post and to those 99.9% of residents who aren't even on the forums.

As such, this MUST be stopped and everyone should receive participatory trophies and pizza (pizza pies to be exact)...but no caffainated soda.

It's very easy to win the forums - you simply repeat the same few things, over and over and over, and when you, through self-programming, fully believe those things to be 100% true, you've won.

I still say the only way to win forums is to not do them, speaking from my 8 or so years of experience on assorted web boards.

(No, I'm not bragging about being an old-timer, just giving a reference point. :p )

In the way that they waste time that could be spent more productivly, I agree. But if you take them with the right frame of mind they can be kinda fun, like this.

I think this point needs reiterating.

i.e. You write a post containing that name (:p) and you loose 100 points for that post, doesn't matter how many times you use it. Sorry Siggy & Zap... :o
