Whats Up With Age Play, Goreans, and Furries?

For the most part, I'm all for live and let live. I consider myself tolerant of almost all of the subcultures in SL. People should be allowed to express themselves in pretty much whatever way they feel the need. But where I draw the line is thinly veiled paedophilic abhorrence that is Ageplay. As a parent-to-be, there is little more horrifying than what these people appear to stand for.

If there is a member of Ageplay reading the forums, please speak up if I'm misunderstanding what Ageplay is about. As it stands, I view your existence as a travesty on so many levels I don't know where to begin. It's simply disgusting.

Could I get the book, chapter and verses on that, need it to thump a "Family values is all in the bible"-nutjob...

All you need is to get griefed repeatedly by normal-looking avatars and suddenly all your biases about Goreans and Furries will disappear.

Let me tell ya folks, every single one of the people who griefed me had a very normal human avatar. No goreans, no robots, no furries, not goth, not vampire, not elfin ... all normal. In fact furries have been nice to me even if I'm not one of them.

Oh and one more thing ... every single one of those griefers at least has payment info on file. Only two incidents happened after the open registration and those two incidents were by a premium member. lah dee dah.

Okay, he're something quite amusing (to me at least...):

When searching for zoophilia, Bestiality, zoosex, farmsex or whatever terms you can think of, 99 out of a 100 links you see are to sites that are not made by, or aimed at the furry audience.

So, while every anti-fur is screaming " Furry = zoosex!!" They couldn't be more wrong.; it's the non-furries that are most into this. So explain to me why it is that everyone makes the connection that anthropomorphic animal = bestiality?
with that in mind, how about Walt Disney? I'm sure he liked to rape mice...


On ageplay: ageplay in itself is all about being a kid again, being able to play kids games, being able to behave like a little annoying brat, being 'mothered' and taken care of by someone. Most important, it is NOT about sex.
(of course, there *are* exceptions, but there are always exceptions. Like the one furry that indeed *is* a zoophile... Not nearly enough reason to throw everyone on the same heap.

I dont know about what ageplay means completely, but I have a little girl av. Why? Because I like pretending I'm a kid, that I can get into no trouble, that I'm innocent. I dont have any sexual encounters or even speak of anything like that whilst I'm wearing it. Some of the best people I know are child avs, and they pretty much stand for families - ie there's them, a "mummy", a "daddy", and sometimes brothers and sisters.

I've been a slave in the past before I was a little girl, and it isn't all about sex. It's about having love and trust for another person. The person I was with looked after me so well, always gave me the choice of what I wanted to do, and I loved him until he released me.

I've yet to be a furry, however, but I'm sure that's just as fun I'm currently a fairy - is the topic starter gonna find some reason that's bad, now?

Age play, Gorean, Furries: Role playing between consenting adults where one has the option of pretending to be a different age, a dominant or submissive personality, or a character with animal traits. (Funny you have issues with Gorean but not with BDSM.) The keywords here are "consenting adults". Everyone on the mature grid is over 18 years of age so the argument that it's illegal or shouldn't be allowed is non-sequitor. All these roleplaying styles existed in RL LONG before SL was ever a gleam in Phillip's eye.

Kinky, perhaps. Immoral? That's a personal opinion based on your belief system. Beleive what you like but please don't try and force your beliefs on others. Leave them alone to have their fun. If you can't deal with it perhaps you should find a cave somewhere in an isolated part of the world, SL, RL or both.

Things I am intolrent of:

People who don't give me lindens

People that assume a group of ppl believe a certain way without taking the time to research

People who sell me free stuff, that really pisses me off

So if we are going to talk about something, lets talk about all the free stuff i bought for 500 lindens and up on more than one occasion... -.-

(but on a serious note, if you think these ppl who are openly practicing whatever kink that interest them are breaking any laws at all.. than i would just sit back and wait.. they'll get flattened evantually. But seriously I really don't think they are doing anything to be concerned about.. /shrug)

Already got one of the first, but I just can't see myself being the second, or a furry to be honest.
