It seems you get a grant to further your work in SL and nothing comes into play.
The downtime increases the bugs are always worse and worse.
Then you take away once again and we the players get what?
Longer log in times lots and lots of downtime.
Inturupted game play(grid restarts). Where does it end and where does the good begin?
I'm sorry I just don't ever see where any improvements are made.
I play souly because of others. I dread thinking of logging in and getting booted, then not knowing if i can log in and or having to wait for how long ?
Yes there are no other games (like) SL out there and yes there will be games to replace SL eventually. You LL need to remember player loyalty only goes as deep as the next (game)if your in the buisness of making a lasting game you really need to build a game that has better content wich means less bugs less log in times and much much less downtime. If you read the forums you'll see that players create what makes SL such a wonderful experience and those players are the very ones that will make a new game an exciting and better place. My word to the wise is put your efforts where best spent.
Add to the game not take away. My post about giving nothing was all about why give anything at all to anyone only in the end to have it taken away.You claim this is all to make SL better and I for one don't see it getting any better.I've played now for over a year and have seen some really smooth game time but it as everything else was very short lived.Pulling out dwell like greatly decreasing stipend will have its affect and maybe it won't matter much or maybe it will? The whole thing with dwell is to stabilize (keeping prices higher) the L$'s.Makes no matter to me how high or low it goes.
I myself never buy or sells L$'s.
My concern is why are you always taking and not improving?
I always hear that downtime is to improve game play yet it never happens.
Its simply a quick fix that might work temporarily.
Its a fact that you can do whatever you want with the game and sooner or later you'll make a decision that will be the last straw even for those that are hard core I beleive in linden lab players.
But hey it is your game after all and not ours that is why I will and never have much stake in SL its just a platform to meet some really nice people and see just how creative and intellagent people are.In saying that yes your the ones that put that together and for that I am very grateful. I'm just a voice telling you that where your headed is the wrong direction. It definetly is the wrong direction if this was a ploy to end a power play between you and certain players.I'll stand by this and know that it is right: Let the players decide what is a fair price for L$'s if you think that it will become worthless then let it be.

For you to feed it will only add fuel to the fire. Once SL is to expensive to play what do you think will happen? I love the people that play and really enjoy the time spent with them. I for one will say that LL your time would be better spent on making SL better not just taking and taking.The day that SL is silent I for one will not be heard from or there to say I told you so. Me like many others will simply be gone.I never was and never will be a yes man. If I am to be of any good then I feel the only thing to do is tell it like it is.From the heart the mouth speaketh.
