Yeah, the blue background is a bit of a problem.
From: Effective Color Contrast Choose dark colors with hues from the bottom half of this hue circle against light colors from the top half of the circle. Avoid contrasting light colors from the bottom half against dark colors from the top half. Why not use the color of the logo? I like that Linden posts are colored. It's a good idea. Why they chose this color? Perhaps, it's because they figured it would be the color residents would be least likely to use themselves. Perhaps, it's just Torley's favorite color (very doubtful). |

I like that Linden posts are colored. It's a good idea. Why they chose this color? I think it's weird, because they had been using green, mostly, and that stood out, looked nice, and was immediately recognisable. Why the change from green to brown? |

Kelly uses green--who else?  (And ah, no, burnt sienna isn't my favorite color... turquoise blue is. But as for "fave color combo", that's already been nicely illustrated here, albeit with more purple and not enough pink. )Jeska made the original announcement: As you may have already noticed, as of this afternoon, all Linden made posts in the forums are now a lovely shade of burnt sienna! We've gotten feedback that it can be difficult to find Linden posts in the discussion forums. This affects all Linden posts retroactively, so don't be surprised when searching through old posts to see newly colored Linden posts. _____________________
