Actually as a beta member myself , i have to correct something.. yes lifetime memberships had to be purchased but for those of lucky enough to get in on it.. they were offered at a discount, it was like 160 i think something like it was so long ago i don't remmeber but it was only for a certain amount of time... 225 was like normal price up until they took Lifetimes's away a few months after Sl went live, but as a reward for those of us who payed the money to be lifetime members LL was nice enough to give us 4096m of land to go with the lifetime account
