Is what you make it. Its an incredible virtual reality show..lol, its a place to create, to meet, to chat, to fulfill your fantasies, its real people, meeting from all over the world, making businesses, just having fun. Exploring is my favorite thing to do, get out on a road and just walk, and see what everones doing, fly over to groups you see gathered on the mini map. Most everyones pretty nice to new ones, we were new once too, and will give you things to get started..clothes and neat stuff to play with.

For all my moaning and bitching lately, i must say its the best thing out here..and i know the staff at Linden Labs will try their darndest to make this a fantastic experience for you too ...have fun!!!

Click on the "search" button in game and type in "yadni" or "junkyard" (without the quotes) in the Places tab. There is a load of stuff there for free or for $1L

People here can offer you advice, which is good (if you ignore the silliness

) but another option also is to go to this link and read up.

Also my advice would be to go ahead and put in credit card info if you have it and get a few L$ (game money) to get you started because even at yadni's you'll need a few L$ to buy the stuff there, though it is the cheapest you'll find. You shouldn't need a lot of L$ to get started, a couple of hundred and you're on your way. You'll be able to figure out a way to earn them in SL once you get familiar with things.
