Compulsion Overdrive Is A Bully

I just got the new C-Tech F2050 anniversary edition and I have to say it's just not fair. I mean for Compulsion to set the bar so far out of reach is just wrong. How are all the other jet makers supposed to get motivated if they know the best they can hope for is a distant second.

Hot on the heels of her killer F3010, Compulsion Overdrive (Overachiever is more like it) comes out with the new F2050 featuring another amazing HUD that is lightyears ahead of anyone else. Now that is just showing off!


I could spend all day talking about all the different areas you can configure on that thing. And the flight is smooth as silk. And it banks unlike the F3010. But it isn't armed. Oh, well, can't win them all. Luckily I have both.


We REALLY need a block of about 10 void sims for flying. You can do a lot of sailing in one sim, but you can fly across a sim in about 30 seconds.

Anyway, I've said my peace. I hope you're listening Compulsion.

And, yes, it wasn't supposed to be taken seriously. Compulsion is an awesome woman and I was really impressed with this new jet and wanted to get the word out.

Well, there's generally a corridor between the northern and southern continent; do a region search for ANWR. There's a lot of water between there... and not much else.

You too might make a great resmod someday.

Despite your obvious attempt, this post is a damning criticism. I refer to:

SL currently does not have 10 void sims to fly in. If this vehicle needs 10 void sims then it is a poor design for a SL vehicle. I'll wait until she designs something suitable for the SL of today.

I'm starting to see a disturbing trend toward these types of veiled publicity/marketing/advertising threads rising in the general forums.

Though somewhat clever, I hope it stops.

They really arent fooling anyone and in a competitive platform like SL, its just a matter of time before the forums turn into a haven of veiled classified ads.

I've also noticed one or two threads where people have been praising products or places they enjoy. Shocking.

Yeah in the case of Compulsion's stuff -- its genuine. Even her freebie glider is a cut above anything else out there. You really have to try it to believe it.

Agreed. You can move across the entire grid nearly just by thinking it with the free, copyable carbon rod that everyone has. Being able to actually control where you're going, and enjoy looking at all the builds as you get there, that's the challenge.

That's backward. SL is poorly designed for vehicles. Especially aircraft. It is very very hard to get across sim boundries without losing your vehicle. It's worse for aircraft because they cover more distance faster.

It would take about ten void sims to take any decent sized vehicle out for a good flight.

At least with cars and bikes you can have a pretty good time staying within the same sim, but how many sims have decent roads? Is it the car builders fault there aren't many roads in SL?

Same if you're going by sea. There are more and more void sims and water areas but its still hard to get around by boat unless you are sticking to the void sims due to overwater builds.

And all forms of transportation can be frustrating due to those irritating land security features like the Psyche Home Defense system especially ones that give you only three seconds or less before they bounce you 15 sims away.

Install SimX on your vehicle. Never had any problems with my dominus shadow or my AubreTEK Osprey

Now regular vehicles with phys movement and no SimX for boarder crossings? God I lose those all the time. I still haven't gotten my motorcycle back that I fell off of a month and a half ago =(

I'd chalk this one up to someone genuinely enjoying their SL discovery of a cool item and wanting to share, actually. Know it for a fact such things do happen, and c-tech hover thingies are really very nice, judging from the quality of their free model ^^;
