You know your addicted to SL when...

hahahahaha... yeah, definitely... I've done that at several RL spots Ive been to.

When you look at something RL & think I wonder how that would look in prim form, or ask yourself, how many prims will that take to make.

when you're talking to someone RL & they're on their way to you & you have to take a moment to realize that you can NOT send them a TP.

When you're laying in bed & keep getting interupted by the thoughts of what you could or should be creating in SL.

When you have to keep a notebook and/or sketch pad with you at ALL times to jot down ideas and/or designs as they come to you so you won't forget.

when you're in the grocery store RL wishing you were in sl because in sl you don't HAVE to eat to survive.

..... you make typing motions as you speak.

When you are speaking to someone in RL, and all the things you
keep thinking of to say are based in SL.

When everything you see keeps getting broken down into
texture an form.

I am constantly catching myself from relating stories about SL
to uninformed people in RL.

You try to zoom in on a browser window using the Alt - mouse Wheel

When you start copying SL dance moves... in RL

You hear a good tune anywhere and TRY to dance like your avatar
(looking less talented in it then they are)

You type or speak saying me
(ex me is going to steal the cake)

when u try to alt zoom up a hot chicks skirt

You try to invent a script that lets a person know when and who is looking up their skirt, or kilt!

When you walk up the road and see a building in progress, still with the wooden joists visible, and you think 'Tch! They haven't even textured the roof yet'.

Guilty as charged on all 3 counts.

And they're better than yours!

Oh, that's a given! When really nice stuff costs about $2, that's going to happen.

Incidentally, I kind of like shopping RL more now that I've played SL a while...

I like the fact that on SL, clothes strech to fit, no matter what size you are. *and it still looks good*... that doesn't happen in RL.. it would make clothes shopping sooo much easy if it did!

When you're in a class at school and surfing the SL forums instead of following what the teacher says.

when you stand on the edge of somebodies property and throw things at them, and actually get in trouble.

When you hear someone snoring and look around in your sl house before turning around and looking around in your real house only to find your partner has fallen asleep hours ago waiting for you to come to bed.

Last month I bought a really cute shirt irl and wished it was tintable.

When you want to attach a keyboard to your back, and then wonder if the script's broken when you talk.

When you start asking friends for copies of their really cool shirt they just got.

...and, in my case, when you realise that you're guilty of most of the above and have been playing for a week!

When you hear yourself telling RL ppl " BRB , just a quick AFK "

when your house is always cleaner on patchdays

when you realize the harsh reality that your mouse cannot move rl furniture

When you offer the excuse for arriving late somewhere " Sorry, traffic was lagged "

When you subconciously calculate your available savings for new parts prior to each patch update *just in case*

Where there are scripts to help locate prims in SL , RL has no such feature to find the missing sock that escaped from the dryer.

You know you've played too long when; instead of asking someone for a ride, you ask for a TP.

When you use coordinates to know your friends location.

You wonder why the sky isn't staying to the noon permanent setting you left it at.
