I can't believe that a Linden has posted to this thread three times and not bothered to move it to the Feature Feedback forum where it belongs.

I never did come back and post a link to my SLURL creator, huh? :o

I see Ordinal already did a javascript one that's now on the official site, so I guess this is kinda superfluous, but it's part of something else I'm playing with, so not a wasted effort. Feel free to use it if ya wanna.

I posted "Making a SLurl" on my blog, which is a little how-to. Although I still mostly use SLurl Builder.

Here are the lists of SLurl's I've used in my blog so far:
  1. The Shogunate Temple
  2. Bells and Spurs
  3. Schmooze
  4. Midnight City
  5. Simone
  6. Sheep Island

I want one feature added before I start using this in my web pages

REFERRER CODES!

Forgive me if I am selfish here, but if I get people to sign up for Secondlife thru my site's traffic, buhgawd I want credit for them...

I want an LSL script HUD thingy that generates a basic SLURL from your present position for easy copying. Been meaning to do that for awhile.

If anyone wants to post such a script, yay; if not, I'll write one myself later (too sleepy at the moment).

That would be cool. Is it possible to get info from an landmark if its dragged and dropped onto an item? You could have an in-world object that you could drop landmarks onto and it would spit out the slurl. Possible?

Landmarks don't return the simulator name when you query them through the dataserver, so you couldn't do this from landmarks.

That was my guess. Maybe a new LSL function? llGetSlurl(landmark) perhaps? I'd use it a lot.
