It's been longer than that. When I got booted I took and hour and a half nap. I've ben up for at least 30 minutes now. Still down.

I'm in as well but can't teleport anywhere and my avie is out of control and now at coordinates; 22620,3928,-1630 of Luna Soliel. I can however see the map and the mainland is empty but the private islands have people on them.

Thats what pisses me off. And it just confirms everything i've heard. They do pay more attention the people with islands and whatnot. Really thats smart, but they don't have to make it so obvious

No they don't. Can I add a bit of logic to this thread or is this the wrong crowd? Maybe?

Let's try: Private islands are not attached to the main continent(s), therefore these self-replicating grid attacks can't cross over into them by themselves, therefore islands remain largely unaffected because they're physically seperated from the mainland. The attacker would have to teleport to each and every island and unleash the attack.

I don't think they are paying more attention to island owners this time. I think it much more likely that many islands were not hit in the attack and so did not crash and it was not necessary to take them down. In the last few attacks even though I was on our island I went down with everyone else. This attack I have been left in world. Its a crap shoot.

I think if you wanted some credibility.. you would not insult the people you are addressing in your first sentence. Thank you for questioning my and other people's intelligence.

It is not my island and I'm not really there. I'm lost and out of control. Iwas just reporting that people are on private islands. In fact there are 29 people on Edge and I have no clue what is there. I can't tp anywhere so I'm just as stuck as everone else. I will know the minute the grid comes up because I should get lots of IMs from friends trapped on other private islands. I have three other friends currently online.

The first report I can find in the forums that the grid was down was at 1:27 p.m. game time. It's now 5:05 p.m. game time. That's 4 hours 38 minutes so far.

Not surprising and let's not forget it's Sunday. Which meant many had to abandon their Sunday afternoons to return to work to fix this issue.
