The good thing about all the bad events, is that if you have a good, new, and interesting event, a lot of people would probably come to yours.

If they can find it in the Events list, which is the point right? Bleh, I'm going to Introvert's Log In event today just because I've never met her (him?) and I love freebies :)

Has anyone else been hit with a group invite aking to join then asking for a signup fee or 100l??????

No, but another annoying thing happening is walking into a store and being besieged by notecards advertising someone else's business. You do have the option to discard them, but they're all popping up and trying to load at the same time things are rezzing, and you're hoping you're not standing on someone who is invisible (the invisi avi bug), and hoping you haven't rezzed as Ruth or as a bug-eyed freak (another two bugs)...and it makes for a much, much slower rez.

Introvert's event was one of the best events I've attended this year. He even re-logged for me because I've missed it! Thanks Introvert, much appreciated.

I've decided to continue in this great tradition and will schedule a "Watch Candide rubberband while building" event sometimes over the weekend :p

Thanks Candide and all the attendees of my last event. Based on the success of that, I have just added:
** introvert may log in
Date: Tuesday, March 28, 2006
Time: 3:00PM - 3:10PM (10 minutes)
Location: Crooked (49,45)
Host: Introvert Petunia
Category: Discussion
Cover Charge? No

Event description: Due to the phenomenal success of "** introvert logs in" on March 23, 2006, we are holding a repeat. However, the one criticism that was offered was that the event was far too predictable, so we've altered it slightly in order to add an element of suspense.

As this is a "discussion" event, if the host does log in we will discuss whether he should have; if he doesn't discussion will center around why he didn't.
Wild speculation about reasons behind my not logging in (should that be the case) is not only allowed, but encouraged.

Hope to see you there... maybe.
