What if one were to rip a skin texture off a client made by a prominent creator and provide tattoo work to the actual skin texture, and a person paid for these services. Is this wrong? In my opinion you're not stealing the work of someone else. Just merely improving the canvas they have provided. Was a thread about it a while ago. /109/c2/115025/1.html |

Ron,
I would file a DMCA, but there's nothing to do about it at the moment - Torley returned the entire store to the owner, so (as far as I know) it's not available for sale in-world anymore. Khashai, No, they were selling theirs for L$200. I know of at least one person who got one just because it was too funny ![]() Norman, I don't think that designs are protected under the same conventions, as long as you don't infringe on a trademark. In the real world, I know there are very many legit design duplications. To name a few popular ones, the iconic Rolex Submariner and Fender Stratocaster are widely imitated under various names. I'd even go as far as to guess there are more imitations than originals at this point. In the car industry, they call this kind of thing "replicars". Lillani, The back-seat animations are not something I'm particularly interested in doing - but I'm secretly hoping someone else makes one and sells it Torley saw someone in the sandbox doing just that, but alas, we weren't able to figure out who made it._____________________
