1. This place is a lot of FUN

2. Simulated sex is addictive - as if I didn't know that before

3. My RL social skills are being impacted by the results of my SL interactions - very positively BTW

4. 90% of the females on SL luv to "doll-up" - and I luv it!!

5. For the first week, all of my friends were female. Now in week 2, starting to get balance, furries included!!

6. Now, about learning how to make those attachments work right - anyone mention Xcite???

7. Some beautiful detail work around - works of art in themselves - Apollo just one example

8. Gotta start to get some balance in my life between RL and SL. Anyone know of a good shrink in either world that can help?

9. Emotional attachment in SL is easier than in RL, and equally infectious - can we say we experience "love" in SL?? Hmmm me thinks so.

10. A fun place - did I already say that???

I discovered two aspects of my personality I had never delved into. One, I do have some creativity and two, I do have some business acumen. In rl I am more scientific. In SL, since you guy won't get sick or anything fun like that, I had to learn other things to do. So with the help of these very forums, I taught myself photoshop - YAY ME!!!! The best part of that is my sister who is a rl designer, doesn't know PS!! Score one for me lol. So I learned PS and made clothes, rented stores and eventually decided to start a few businesses myself. Sat myself down and developed what appears to be a fairly decent business model.

There are so many more things I've learned in SL. It is such a rich place if you truly explore it and get to know the residents who play.

Likewise.

I also learned that you should be VERY careful who you trust.

And that sometimes, the most unlikely people turn into the greatest friends.... (or
enemies)

I was going to post but Siobhan said it so eloquently and it summed up my whole second life here..however i have made friends that will be by my side no matter what so im happy..also recently learned to make prims and stop draggin textures right onto the ground:)

in game since 10-05 so not really new just really new to the pain this life can cause as well as first life..pixels or not...

as usual im late readin the forums...sl must be down giggles..

note..."oh Shit can you fix that" should be a gesture/animation...then i wont have to say it so much....ty

I find it interesting that those of us who are shy in rl are in sl as well. I've been that way in other games, I guess I keep expecting that to change. It doesn't. I'm getting better at talking to just anyone but I'm still better off when someone else starts the converstation, heh. Maybe I should make more of a spectacle of myself and draw attention. (who am I kidding.. that would draw... attention!)
