Version 2.0 will include a cure for cancer, and be ported to Infinium Labs' Phantom game console.

Poser 5 Level characters? ... I dont think my computer can handle rendering 30 Posettes let alone 30 Victorias with all her textures, injection morphs and the 200,000 polys :-)

Maybe 2.0 will be based on human wetware platforms ;-)

Lots and lots of shiny features we won't really use. :)

For them to stop breaking it every time they release an 'update.'

Tealos, you're right, a better system than just a strict copy of Poser's feature set is better, just looking at all my shiny Xbox 360 games and titles like Half-Life 2 and F.E.A.R. you can see where we're at in terms of model, clothing, animation and facial features in terms of character models. Right now we're in GTA 3 level with clothing frills, but an avatar without fingers is soooo last century. :)

Yiffy, there are bound to be features we don't use now, but as for my list I tried to stick to root technologies that would hopefully energize current things (prim counts, texture rendering) and open up new design possibilities. But hopefully we'll all find something to use as Linden Lab continues to upgrade the platform!
