From: Yiffy Yaffle What bothers me is this problems been here since beta (2002) and it's taken linden lab this long to fix it... Regardless, Yiffy, I think that if you can agree that it's a good move, then the right thing is simply to say, "Hey, good move." LL catches a lot of flack for allegedly poor decisions, and whether said decisions are poor and the subsequent criticisms justified or not, I don't think it's necessarily reasonable for people to respond to decisions they themselves can agree are good with, "That's nice, but ..." Rather, if you have criticisms, I would (personally) save them for the problems, not the late-coming-but-working solutions. If, on the other hand, you feel it's a poor solution ... well, then by all means, say so.

I think its amazing Kudos to Cube! Plus, there's a psychological benefit. Because of griefing escalation with weapons since 6/6, we inadvertantly developed a really militant (and almost opressive) attitude towards guns and weapons attached to an avatar at my venue. Now, we don't need to be so militant. Folks can wear their gun attachments all they like without flack, so long as they don't actually shoot anyone. And if they do, its not going to be much more than an annoyance.

Yessssssss. I have found it quite difficult to finish my builds while in orbit! This is a great first step.
I think the only thing better would be an RA system that works in more than theory!

I set all the land I own to no push. I think this is a great step forward and yes the griefer will still find new and offensive ways of grieafing but that's what griefers do but we can take there tools away and lessen there effectiveness
big thumbs up on this one LL

I love them but my only concern is that the griefers will no longer be attracted to my land so I can freeze and torment them. I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too.
