Next scenario: I create 40 alts and sit them all on your land while the sim was empty for a bit. The sim beeing full, you can't get to your own home anymore. Heck, if you own a sim, you can't even get to your own SIM anymore. And when you can't reach it, how do you eject people from it? And what if it's mainland, and I have the 40 people distributed on various parcels? Preferably on one which's owner hasn't logged in for 5 months, anyway?
SL is SO explotable in such regards, it's just not true.

Sorry... can't resist.. you presumably mean 'moot' as in 'of no practical importance' rather than 'mute' as in 'unable to speak'? And the answer is that the voting system is a complete crock of shit. Just another way for LL to be as hands off as possible in dealing with their customers.

If I could: - opt out of llPushObject
- mute people's objects as well as their avatars, including sounds
- right click a parcel and click "Do not render this parcel or its contents"
- get a mandatory 15 second warning put on llUnSit, llEjectFromLand, and llTeleportAgentHome whenever they were used on me by someone else's objects
- fly over restricted access land at some height significantly below 200 meters, which is ludicrous
...I would consider the grid to be about 50x more pleasant. Almost every other annoying thing anyone can do to me, I can handle using tools already in the client, i.e. ctrl+alt+shit+=.

If you think about it, this has always been the philosophy. It's demonstrated most readily under the romantic guises of freedom and anarchy in the statement "they own the land and can do whatever they want with it."
We've argued that point for years without being adult enough to admit that it's just simple griefer mentality, childish at best and hatefully rude at worst. For LL to support the notion that I can buy a few square meters in a sim full of homes and open a perpetually crowded club, set up a shop full of rotating rezzing vendors, or build a giant purple wall between those houses and "the view." with no concern of social ramifications is irresponsible. For us to encourage LL's irresponsible support of such a vile attitude in the name of "freedom" has been sad.
But the practice has generated and retained accounts. The victims have persevered as best they could, or they've moved and LL have collect double tier for that land time and again. Dropping age verfication is just the next step in a long running methodolgy that we've held in high esteem up to this point.
So get your act together people and convince yourselves that this is all about ou rglorious freedom and virtual anarchy. The day they force me to prove how old I am is the day I tier down and log out for good and I mean it and you just stuff who RAMS yeah!

Allow us to nullify the most common forms of grief before it can even begin. That's how you can combat alt-griefing.
